Summary of Position
This role is directly responsible for the overall Project Logistics for PSA BDP in Singapore and the region. The position is required to have immediate focus in the execution for PSA BDP’s project business and work. The role is also primarily required to have Project related vendor development, procurement, tender preparation, method statement development and other operational functions.
Scope of work & Responsibilities
• Relationship building with the existing projects in the region.
• Work with MD, Regional Directors and Country Directors to align the operational requirement for project execution.
• Completion of RFP Proposal by collaboratively working with legal, compliance and finance teams.
• Work with approved vendors and contractors on costs, mainly heavy lifts, transportation and out of gauge- OOG/projects cargo.
• Provide Cost Estimates/Quotation to customers, PSA BDP colleagues and overseas PSA BDP offices mainly on projects or OOG cargoes movements.
• Conduct site surveys in accordance with the HSEQ requirements ie: Risk Assessment.
• Attend to operations at Port and Site Locations
• Follow up on outstanding payments.
• Achieve and maintain various documentation KPIs.
• Development of Projects- specific vendors in requirement with the type of projects in the region and participate in various corporate initiatives
• Prepares periodic reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment.
Experience
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Projects / Oil and Gas Logistics business development and operations in the Region, preferably in a managerial position.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration/Project Management.
• Working knowledge of projects, HSE, Compliance, and Documentations.
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrate ability to serve as a knowledgeable resource to the Regional management team.
• Ability to deal with complexities across multiple geographies and cultures
