Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Business Process Manager Logistics (d/f/m) in the field of logistics dispatch/shipping and transport to join our team “Processes & Solutions” in Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel.
We are a global team of 10 responsible to drive our logistics process design and digital solutions in order to enable our ecosystem to run smoothly and deliver parts to the aviation market right in time. And we have a lot to work on and discover, following our logistics transformation journey where we reshape and modernize the warehouse setups in Hamburg and globally. Our team is located in Hamburg, Copenhagen, Washington and Singapore, where we have our main hubs.

WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT
Act as process owner with a focus on shipping and transport, and closely work with the logistics and E2E community providing global guidance
Design and keep processes up-to-date and understood and in collaboration with our operations teams
Actively facilitate the process specialists communities
Initiate and contribute to process improvements as process engineer including process definition, IT coordination and documentation
Drive logistical transformation, e.g. contributing to new warehouse setups including automation
Initiate and manage requirements to improve our digital setup (transport management)
Contribute to our logistics solution strategy where we introduce new systems like transport and warehouse management now and in the coming years (SAP WM, SAP EWM; TMS)
For this position, there might be a few but limited travels per year in Europe or to one of our warehouses based in the US or in Asia, depending on topic need and considering your interests.
ABOUT YOU
Equipped with a Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Economics (or similar) paired with professional working logistics experience in the field of dispatch/shipping and transport, we are looking for a team player with the following experience, skills and mindset:
Professional Experience in business processes with customs, 3PLs, 4PLs
A good knowledge and professional experience in process modelling/process management as well of proven project management skills
Experience in global transport network management / transport control tower management
Aviation specific knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory
Digital mind with experience in TMS (transport management system) and motivation to drive our digital solutions forward (incl. SAP)
A lean / operator / user -oriented approach to develop processes and systems that are robust and effective
Due to the international environment, an excellent command of both written and spoken English is required, German in addition is preferred
