Role: Sales, Planning and Promotions Manager
On a day-to-day basis, the Sales, Planning and Promotions Manager develops comprehensive product plans tailored to support SOT's sales objectives while leveraging the company's manufacturing capabilities. This involves crafting packages and promotional offers across various product categories, including hand tools, tool storage, merchandise, and shop & tech products. These initiatives not only aim to stimulate customer demand and achieve margin targets but also serve to educate customers on the key features and benefits of their products. Additionally, the manager conducts thorough analysis of completed programs to identify strategies for enhancing future sales and profitability. Furthermore, they are responsible for planning and coordinating various promotional activities supporting key programs such as SFC, kick-off, RADs, Big Ticket FDOs, and various flyer offers, ensuring alignment with overall sales and marketing objectives.
Responsibilities:
Product Plan Integration: Collaborate to ensure product plans align with sales strategies, supporting sales objectives effectively.
Product Plan Development: Formulate product plans to meet corporate margin targets, utilizing their manufacturing assets efficiently.
National Programs: Develop product offerings in line with sales initiatives like SFC, Kick-off, RADs, and Big Ticket FDO programs.
Effective Communication: Craft compelling product offers that convey features and benefits clearly to franchisees and customers, leveraging merchandising techniques for enhanced channel penetration.
Product Launch Management: Work closely with Product/Category Managers to devise comprehensive launch plans ensuring maximum market penetration and sell-through.
Event Organization: Assist in planning and organizing Annual Franchisee Conferences, trade shows, sales competitions, and events, liaising with relevant stakeholders.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business.
Strong background in product management, including planning, forecasting, and analysis.
Demonstrated experience in sales and marketing relevant to the mobile tool distribution industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in financial analysis.
Understanding of individual product lines such as hand tools, tool storage, merchandise, and shop & tech products.
