The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity for a motivated Civil Project Engineer to join our Sydney operations team based in Girraween, NSW. This is a full-time permanent position. With the support of the Project Manager, you will take part in driving projects from inception to completion. Main duties include:
• Maintaining detailed knowledge of allocated contracts
• Planning and scheduling of construction activities, monitoring project progress and resolving problems
• Supervising and coordinating resources including personnel (both internal and contractors), equipment and materials
• Addressing any contractual issues that may arise on the project
• Providing financial assessments and information, delivering on planning, budgeting and reporting activities
Key Selection Criteria:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering, Construction Management or relevant qualification
• Previous experience in managing construction-based projects
• Exceptional technical skill and problem-solving ability
• Exposure to rail/road culverts, wastewater, stormwater and/or potable water networks is beneficial to the role
