An exciting, substantive opportunity for a Business Support Assistant (Band 4) has arisen in the South West Nursing Directorate to support theContinuing HealthcareTeam.



We are seeking someone with excellent administrative, communication and organisational skills, to work as part of a friendly & dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the Continuing Healthcare Independent Reviewarea in in the NHS Continuing Healthcare (CHC) team.

The post holder will provide administrative services; including for example, supporting scheduling Independent Review Panels (IRPs), the preparation of agendas and minutes, copying files for the purpose of IRPs and taking appropriate follow-up action as required.

Act as first point of contact to area of work for a wide range of stakeholders.



Communicate and engage with external and internal CHC stakeholders which may require negotiation skills and understanding of the needs/requirements and of other organisations, senior professionals and individuals. Updating and maintaining the single NHS CHC database and/or spreadsheets relevant to work area, and manage meeting arrangements

Developing and maintaining effective electronic and paper filing systems, to ensure that information is kept securely and is accessible to other members of the team



Manage incoming and outgoing mail to ensure timely delivery as well as the appropriate circulation of relevant publications and communications.



Supplying the relevant information required for financial management, supporting the head of department and teams by checking and sending invoices for payment

This post is part of the Health Check Liaison Team, which works across the Trust's community services. The purpose of the team is to provide health checks and support to patients with serious mental illness who are under the care of South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will be required to record comprehensive information in the electronic patient record, to produce high quality letters to share information with primary care, to produce regular reports on their progress and to set up processes to manage their workload. The Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) physical health checks are the key physical health checks required and include: BMI Blood pressure and pulse Lifestyle, including diet and exercise Smoking status Substance misuse (drugs and alcohol use) Cardio-metabolic risk using tools such as Q-Risk Blood lipids including cholesterol Blood sugar (HbA1c). Please note this role will involve working across all four boroughs that we serve (Croydon, Lewisham, Southwark and Lambeth). The team works in an agile way, and is deployed on a temporary basis to teams with high need, and also involves home visiting with equipment. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and proficient Business Support Officer to work with Public Health and Health and Justice commissioners. This post will be embedded within the Midlands H&J Commissioning team, working in a hybrid way, combining home working with some travel to meetings and our Sexual Abuse and Referral (SARC) services across the region.

You will be required to be a proactive team player in a fast paced and dynamic team. You will need to be a professional administrator. You will support the SARC commissioning team but work flexibly to support the wider Health and Justice team as required. Working both as a team member and independently, you will be able to multitask, work under pressure to meet deadline, and handle confidential information with care

· Provide high quality administration support taking minutes and providing project management support

What is the job role?

We are looking for a Project Assistant to work as part of the Coventry HDRC.

The important role will support the Coventry HDRC team in organisation, coordination and administration of key functions of HDRC. The role will ensure the smooth running of the require working with people from a range of organisations including universities, hospitals as well as statutory and voluntary agencies.

There is opportunity to help develop new processes such as the management and advice to research projects.

It is a 2-year fixed term contract/secondment with possible extension.
