About this opportunity
The Purpose of the Business Agility Lead (BAL) is to work in partnership with Labs. The Business Agility Lead (BAL) is jointly responsible for the performance of the Lab including data quality, optimised flow of work, Lab topology, and agile practices. You'll do this by transitioning to a data led approach to increase speed to market through related measures, introduce proactive continual improvements and coach back to delivery when off track. In this role, you'll support colleagues within your lab and platform to implement and refine agile practices (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, scaled frameworks etc.), using experience, data and relevant business knowledge. You'll have an understanding of different agile approaches and use judgement to decide when and where to apply them.
You'll be familiar with Agile Methodology and Tooling, helping to stand up new agile teams, providing coaching and advice and sharing experience on the most appropriate methods and tools to use for the specific work required.
You'll be a keen problem solver, understanding the challenge, and creating possible solutions using a variety of methods through your experience, data, creativity and knowledge of the customer, business and industry. You'll support and coach teams with various technique, including brainstorming, process flows and value hypothesis setting.
We have a spectrum of agile maturity across our teams and labs, from those trying it for the first time, through to those with established practices and maturity, and we're looking for motivated and experienced Agile enthusiasts to join our team of committed Business Agility Leads.
What you'll need:
-
Proven experience in Agile Coaching / Scrum Mastery (with relevant certifications)
-
Understanding of Agile Delivery Metrics and Evidenced based decision making
-
Experience in coaching and influencing Lab leadership in Agile Ways of Working
-
Experience of using JIRA, JIRA Align and Confluence
