This is a fixed term role for Maternity cover.
As a Business Administrator you will:

Assist in the financial administration of patient accounts

Provide excellent stakeholder/customer service at all times
-
Work with the theatre team to ensure the correct coding of patient accounts
-
Ensure that information received from external stakeholders (e.g. medical secretaries, patients) meets the minimum level of compliance
-
Check and update where necessary, the details provided by our patients to the invoicing system
-
Help with month end tasks

Resolve Data Quality issues
-
Support any other Business Administration requirements within the department.
To succeed as a Business Administrator, you will:
-
Have experience in working in a busy customer business support function
-
Be a confident communicator with proven experience of dealing with customer queries

Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
-
Be confident in working with numbers and large volumes of data
-
Be educated to GCSE level in English and Maths,
-
Have an NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent
-
Have excellent IT skills (Outlook/Excel/Word)
-
Have a strong attention to detail
-
Ability to develop good working relationships with key stakeholders within the business
This is a varied role that plays a vital part in supporting our Finance and Administration teams.
Please note due to the nature of this role you will be required to work onsite at all times.

Nuffield Health Guildford Hospital provides high-quality healthcare working with leading Consultants to offer a range of services and treatments for preventing, diagnosing and treating a wide array of medical conditions and offer a wide range of complex surgery and services. Our care is matron led and we are proud to have received a "good" rating from the health care regulator, the Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Our facilities include 49 en-suite patient bedrooms, 4 operating theatres, acute dependency and oncology units. We've been awarded the Macmillan Quality Environment Mark for cancer care. Our site is shared with an NHS Trust hospital, giving us access to their facilities. The working atmosphere is highly professional and stimulating, yet friendly and collaborative like that of a large family unit.
The hospital is easily accessible from the A3 or M25 and we are located about 1.5 miles from Guildford town centre.
