In response to the Carter Reviews diagnostics work team was introduced, however following the Mike Richards review further investment was secured to increase the team size to manage the increased outputs for Diagnostics including delivery of Community Diagnostic Centres as well as the diagnostic pillar transformation. This role is part of the newly expanded team. The Diagnostics Team support Integrated Care systems to deliver the diagnostics transformation, specifically supporting network formation, review of clinical pathways and implementation of Community Diagnostic Hubs. The overall objective of the team is to improve outcomes and access to Diagnostics ensuring earlier diagnosis and connected patient records. This role will provide programme and project management support to the Senior Diagnostic Transformation Managers as well as the wider NW Diagnostic Team, Senior Managers, Directors and stakeholders. OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITY The Project Support Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to the programme management office (PMO). This will include working with PMO team members to develop processes and audit trails to manage, track and report on programme/project progress. Provides a high quality and comprehensive support service to the function. Supervises and manages staff as required Participates in projects for the mental health programme supporting the project or programme of work from initiation to delivery. Schedule and organise meetings (e.g. project board meetings) and other events. Plan/co-ordinate as necessary, undertake formal minutes for meetings and take follow up action as appropriate. Track project deliverables, including expenditure and savings. KEY RELATIONSHIPS The postholder will need to form good working relationships with a range of people, both within and external to NHS GM. We are now searching for an exceptional Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team within CHP. As Finance Business Partner you will be a member of the Management Accounts team reporting to the Finance Manager, where one of your primary responsibilities will be to support the Developments/Capital Programme ensuring funding drawdowns and WIP is accounted for correctly and be responsible for the associated balance sheet reconciliations and Capital budgets. This commercial role requires extensive use of excel and Sage to enable interrogation of data and performing adjustments as required.

The post holder will be an integral part of the finance and performance recovery PMO. This programme covers the ICS i.e. the ICB, providers and local authorities. The post holder will collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver the projects and priorities as part of this programme. This will involve working with localities, system boards, providers and the ICB. Through strong leadership, transformational approaches and change management skills the post holder will support the development, implementation and benefits realisation of programme priorities. Support with identification and the development of project plans, milestones and risks and the delivery of efficiencies to enable programme objectives to be met, including managing day-to-day project activities.
