Position: Project Manager (Automotive Manufacturing)

Location: Deeside / Liverpool

Hours: Monday - Friday (Some weekends)

Salary: £55,000-£60,000p/a

Due to significant growth, we are recruiting a Project Manager, the role will be working in the automotive industry and the successful candidate will have Project Management in the Automotive manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will manage multiple projects and services. Ensuring that a detailed review is undertaken regarding all Projects and Services, planning ahead forecasting costings.

Duties:

Maybe requested to assist the technical sales director on quoting a project, or variations on a project.

Generate the planning and organising of the project or services work and the teams required to meet given priorities and task or multiple tasks timing.

Organising assigned specialised work to the relevant standards, Procuring materials, equipment and resources as appropriate.

Carrying out the assigned specialised work to the relevant standards, using materials, equipment and resources as appropriate.

Operating and checking specialist equipment. Carries out work and supervises team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to correct standards.

Reporting the actual status of projects or services with the finance team on a monthly basis.

Supervising the completion of work of groups of employees.

Assisting in implementing Human Resources' procedures in the area, including recruitment, discipline, performance management and appraisal.

Able to demonstrate a sound understanding of business, finance and personnel management techniques and the commercial aspects of projects.

The ability to communicate, negotiate, forecast and influence effectively, to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.

Excellent written communication through the use of e-mail, presentations and reports.

NEW BUSINESS SALES

This is an amazing sales team and due to continued growth are seeking another to join these dynamic sales hungry team.

This role is to obtain new business through prospecting, client interfacing and proposals that achieve the sales targets in line with the strategic aspirations of the company.

To successfully support the implementation of new business obtained (in partnership with the relevant operational and business colleagues)

Comes with amazing base salary + £6k car allowance, Quarterly commision, etc

Overview:

• Establish customer business action plans.
• Participate in internal and external meetings.
• Analyse individual client performance with the hierarchy
• Promote an awareness of the logistics in the market.
• Responsible for achieving sales target through lead generation, prospecting, client meetings, drawing up of proposals, estimates, presentations etc.
• Identify and target sales opportunities at low, medium and high level.
• Formulate strategy to successfully win new business and in doing so, increase market share.
• Opening of new business accounts according to the applicable procedure
• Creating and implementing of SOPs, SLAs and other related documents in conjunction with internal teams
• Weekly and monthly reporting as required internally and to client.
• Regular meetings - for the purpose of new business or servicing of existing business
• Update all activities and pipeline opportunities within the CRM.
• Liaise with product heads to secure best rates and service offering to meet customer requirements.
• Handling of queries (operational, financial or other)
• Client entertainment following company policies and guidelines.
• Create awareness and understanding of industry vertical information, requirements and general knowledge.
• Keep abreast of industry changes, information and skill requirement.
• Any other delegated tasks deemed as reasonable as assigned by the reporting manager.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

• A levels preferred.
• Degree preferred.
• Previous International logistics experience - all modes (Air, Road, Sea & Courier)/ Supply chain or freight forwarding company.
• Proven sales track record
• Previous formal sales training preferred.
• Well presented, professional individual with excellent written and verbal language skills
• Ability to effectively negotiate and build a pricing model for a customer.
• Ability to read and interpret financial information, including budgets, financial statements and P&L data.
• Ability to create and implement strategies.
• Ability to work within a target driven and pressured environment.
