At Cennox we are excited to be recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join us as part of our new vertical finance reporting structure. This position will be based from our head office in Camberley but will require some occasional travel as you will be supporting our teams in Europe and USA. You will be working in a hands-on environment with a busy and dynamic team of Management Accountants.
The main responsibility of this post will be to take ownership of all financial aspects of our Irish business as well as some of our UK divisions. You will be supporting the contract teams, preparing monthly management accounts, reporting on performance against budget and forecast, as well as working with the unit heads to update forecasts and prepare annual budgets. We are looking for someone who is proactive who will analyse and investigate costs and identify improvements.
This role works in harmony with our sales and purchase ledger team to ensure unison with cost coding's, and interaction with our project managers ensuring that financial information is up to date. You will be required to challenge margins and advise on additional billing opportunities so you must be versed at dealing with senior stakeholders from a non financial background and be a strong character with the ability to build cooperative working relationships. This position requires you to have strong numerical and analytical skills and work well under pressure. The right candidate will be flexible when working to deadlines associated with month end and ad hoc projects and be prepared to go the extra mile to complete deadlines. You will need to work well under pressure, maintain confidentiality and have excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
- An experienced Business Finance Partner or commercial Management Accountant used to working in a dynamic business.
- CIMA/ACCA qualified.
- Demonstratable experience of larger business accounts (over £25m turnover)
- Strong Excel and technical accounting skills.
- Good working knowledge of UK GAAP
- Strong character and ability to build cooperative working relationships with senior non-finance stakeholders as well as other members of the global finance team.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
Salary £50,000 - £60,000 is on offer depending on experience, plus benefits.
