Brook Street are currently recruiting for a Transactional Procurement Assistant - Band 3, to work for the NHS.
Full-time role working 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9 - 5.

Rate of pay £11.11/hr
Temporary contract until the end of March 2024
This role is to support the Transactional Procurement team to ensure smooth running of the service line. So, you must have some knowledge of procurement but not necessarily have buying experience.
As the first point of contact for the department, you will deal with routine and specialist enquiries in a
courteous and helpful manner, communicating relevant information to stakeholders, referring to
others as appropriate.
The job involves using various computerised systems, e.g. Oracle (ISFE) system to support the requisitioning of goods and services as well as producing purchase orders.
Main Duties of the role but not limited to:
- Oracle Procurement system to support the day to day requisitioning of goods and services.
- Use of online travel booking system to book train tickets and accommodation.
- Provide Transactional Procurement support, training and advice to internal stakeholders and customers.
- Gather data and help provide monthly reports to our customers and stakeholders.
- Obtaining quotations from existing framework suppliers.
- General adhoc admin, emails, letters and management of the generic inbox
Skills required:-
- Excellent communicator
- Great attention to detail
- Proficient in MS office, to include Excel, Word, Outlook and TEAMS
- Previous procurement completed on Oracle e-procurement system is desireable
The pay rate is £11.11 per hour
The role is subject to clearance checks which involve 3 years full referencing and a DBS check
