We are looking for a Marketing Planning Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team here at Warner Leisure Hotels
About the role:
As part of the commercial planning team, working alongside the Commercial Planning Analyst this role will define the annual and quarterly marketing strategy, and develop commercial plans that achieve the business objectives in sales and contribution (tariff less marketing spend)
Starting with the Warner Commercial Strategy, taking inputs from the Insight & Analytics team to understand the brand health, market place and guest buying behaviour and segmentation, to define the guest & revenue objectives on a quarterly and annual basis.
Analysing past marketing channel performance with the Commercial Planning Analyst, to forecast the marketing spend to achieve guest and revenue targets, and optimise contribution.
Define the annual and quarterly strategy that
Maximises the potential in acquisition and retention of guests
Delivers the best possible contribution - balancing volume of guests and marketing budget
A brand plan, that positions the Warner brand to be attractive to the target audience, to raise awareness and consideration
An acquisition strategy, the uses the most appropriate digital and media channels to convert new guests to book
A retention strategy, to use CRM channels to reactive existing guests
The output of the strategy should be a clear brief and objectives for the Demand and Brand teams for acquisition and retention to build their detailed campaign plans.
Review performance against targets on a weekly basis, seeking opportunities to optimise and improve performance, and inform next round of quarterly planning.
About you
Strong influencer across functions, with high problem-solving attitude
Be able to present at senior level
Manages stakeholders across other teams, inform organisational priorities and goals
Requires comprehensive understanding of concepts and principles across the full marketing mix
Must have experience in marketing planning, including digital marketing, CRM and media
Experience in budget planning and measure ROI
Strong skills in marketing analytics and measurement
