We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled business manager to lead on all aspects of business services at Essa Academy. At the heart of the academy, you will be business minded whilst playing a key role in the life of the students, doing duties and being part of the senior leadership team. You will manage the whole academy administrative function; line manage support staff and use Trust methods to maintain and monitor administrative systems.
Reporting to the principal and liaising with appropriate corporate directors, you will be responsible for the academy oversight of information systems and ICT, risk and critical incident management, transactional human resource management including payroll, facility & property management and the health & safety management of the academy.
The ideal candidate will:
Have 5 GCSEs, including English and maths at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
Hold, or be working towards a relevant academy business manager qualification, such as NASBM
Have demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development and training
Have experience in leading, managing and monitoring a team of staff
Have experience managing academy administration, systems and processes
Be committed to supporting the Trust’s agenda for safeguarding and equality and diversity, as well as the Trust’s values and ethos.
