- Direct the human resource management and security programs for the Directorate (Planning Work, Assigning Duties, Training Needs, Admin Support)
- Oversee the DES Information Technology staff for operations of the Directorate's computer hardware and software systems.
- Supervise the Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) business staff and functions needed to support all Division Chiefs within DES.
- Present reports to staff and management officials to disseminate information that will justify resources required to achieve the goals and objectives.
- Represent the Directorate of Emergency Services in meetings with Garrison staff and officials as needed.
- Oversee installation Status Reports and other metric-based management analysis programs as they pertain to the Directorate of Emergency Services.
- Evaluate mission risk to Directorate of Emergency Services (DES) with Division Chiefs to create viable mitigation strategies.
- Resolve issues concerning current major programs or out-year programs that impact on the operations of the Directorate of Emergency Services.
- Solve issues pertaining to business management functions that impact the mission of the Directorate of Emergency Services.
- Analyze business data in support of operational discrepancies identified.
