Your new role This opportunity for a Project Manager will predominantly drive your career growth within defence. You will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and overseeing various projects within our organisation. Responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Required to effectively work with cross-functional teams, communicate with stakeholders, and manage resources to ensure that project success is achieved. The role will require you to be diverse, strategic and adaptive to change. This is a hugely exciting project for someone looking to get diverse experience in defence. Key Responsibilities
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
Be involved with scheduling and planning for a new project
Work collaboratively in a team dealing with various shareholders
Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines and resource allocation.
Create and maintain project documentation, such as schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
Effectively managing projects, ensuring project deliverables are met
Identify and mitigate risk
Work alongside the senior program manager across budget and resource management, quality assistance and change management.
What you'll need to succeed
Experience working in a project engineering environment and understanding of project management methodologies.
Demonstrated experience managing Australian Defence projects and contracts. Understanding of the ASDEFCON contract framework.
Bachelor or Postgraduate Degree (
Australian Citizen, eligible for Defence Clearance
