Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and implementation of procurement strategies, policies, and procedures in the trading business.
• Overseeing in sourcing and evaluating suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather purchasing requirements and create purchase orders.
• Monitor and manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
• Utilize SAP system to process purchase requisitions, track inventory levels, and generate reports.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Assist in supplier audits and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Conduct market research to stay updated on industry developments and best practices.
• Provide support in executing strategic sourcing initiatives.

Requirements:

• Degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• At least 4 – 6 years of purchasing/ procurement with inventory planning experience.
• Prior experience in using SAP system will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in cross trade/ international shipment and incoterms will be ideal.
