Duties: Conduct organizational studies and evaluations, design systems and procedures, conduct work simplification and measurement studies, and prepare operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively. Advise leadership on trade and treasury solutions involving business reviews, external client pitches for transaction banking products, analyzing Profit and Loss statements and other performance metrics. Perform pricing analysis based on interest rate dynamics and other macroeconomic factors. Perform internal briefing materials for executive discussion forums. Manage budget for Platforms and Data Services’ expense base, headcount, and technology budget. Perform financial analysis. Perform data analysis of financial statements, operational performance, investment returns, and client behaviors. Manage budget, create and communicate periodic business reviews to senior management. Create and communicate business strategy and oversee execution of key investment initiatives. Prepare analytics and financial reports to drive key decisions for leadership. Assess Profit and Loss statement of business to evaluate business financial condition and inform leadership of performance and targets. Conduct financial forecasts on evolution of macroeconomy as it relates to prevailing rates and associated factors such as inflation and its impact on fixed and variable costs. Manage databases relating to financial reports, regulatory reports, global human resource maps, organizational charts, and technology budget. Use Excel to create quantitative models to evaluate investment decisions, historical financial analysis, and forecasting. Use PowerPoint to create executive presentation materials for recurring and ad hoc meetings, including business reviews, technology investment activities, budgeting, assessment of business key performance indicators and client presentations. Pitch financial investment initiatives. Review organization’s resource management as it relates to headcount, organizational structure, and matrix reporting relationships. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration or related field and 2 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience as a Program Analyst or related position involving trade and treasury solutions advisory for an investment bank. 2 years of experience must include: Transaction banking platforms, products and services: payments receivables, liquidity management services, trade and commercial cards; Financial analysis, forecasting and budgeting; Excel and PowerPoint; Data analysis; Corporate strategy; Macroeconomics; and Database management.
