• You will utilize knowledge of location, capacity, capability, and availability of Shipyard facilities and services.
• You will utilize knowledge of shipyard nuclear and non-nuclear production trades operations, production planning and control, ship systems engineering, ship systems testing, material management, equipment, and facilities.
• You will direct and manage the accomplishment of all phases of a large-scale nuclear industrial ship and/or submarine repair, maintenance, and modernization.
• You will apply a wide range of qualitative and quantitative analytical and evaluative methods and techniques for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness of complex project planning.
• You will communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all levels of management, including external organizations, such as NAVSEA, and Naval Reactors.

• You will ensure implementation of both short- and long-range comprehensive plans for repair, restoration, and replacement of all facilities for the Shipyard.
• You will serve as the principal assistant for facilities policies, processes, management and execution of approved facilities plans.
• You will develop, update and report corporate, command, departmental, and division metrics and will monitor and assess performance of all branches and the division.
• You will perform quality control assessments, evaluations, audits, and process improvement initiatives.
• You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
• You will develop performance standards; evaluate work performance of subordinates and give advice, counsel, or instructions to employees on both work and administrative matters.

• You will provide technical and administrative supervision and training for administrative support personnel assigned to NRRO.
• You will direct subordinates and review their work.
• You will ensure timely completion of assigned work.
• You will conduct corrective interviews with employees and recommend appropriate disciplinary action when warranted.

• You will develop, implement, and modify a Risk Strategy for each assigned maintenance availability to include the details associated with the methods and data sources to be used in the risk management process.
• You will coordinate, direct, and provide Risk Management training as required to improve process knowledge, communication, awareness, ownership and management of risks.
• You will maintain the risk management database and develop and submit risk management reports to support project, organizational, and customer meeting and communications.
• You will work with risk leads, track the accomplishment of assigned mitigation actions and support risk leads and other project team members in assessing the actual risk of impact of those actions.
• You will maintain a working relationship with other project Risk Managers and share process-related learning points as well as specific risk-related information to improve overall shipyard maintenance/production effectiveness and efficiency.

• You will provide administrative and technical supervision for Nuclear Engineering Technicians.
• You will review work, including reports submitted by subordinates for accuracy and completeness of data, technical competence, correctness of presentation, compliance with established guidelines, and progress of work.
• You will review all nuclear work estimates prepared by the branch for technical adequacy and proper manday and material estimates.
• You will analyze and resolve administrative, financial, and scheduling problems related to department workload.

Shift Pattern: 48 hours per week

As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Recording of vehicles, visitors and contractors as well as all site activities maintaining accurate records and a site daily occurrence record
• Monitor site visually and via CCTV and be fully conversant with the CCTV and site electronic security systems responding to alerts and alarms as required
• Completing regular site patrols and inspections of client's premises in accordance with the assignment Instructions
• To show a professional security presence throughout the site
• To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the company's Health & Safety policy and Health & Safety Management plans
