Hours of work: 42 per week, 2 weeks on days & 2 weeks on nights

Salary: £13.97 p/h

About the Role

We are looking for a security guard to join our team to contribute towards the overall security of the Bowland view site,
controlling site access, directing visitors and deliveries to the correct locations.



Here’s What You Can Expect to be Doing

* Maintaining the safety, security and operational standards of the external areas of our depot.
* Ensuring site security is maintained by controlling access to pass holders, deliveries and valid visitors.
* Monitoring CCTV, the intruder alarm, fire alarms and the building management system.
* Working alongside a team of security guards based over different areas of the site, ensuring accurate and up to date
communication of any issues.
* Reporting incidents in compliance with security procedures.
* Completing incident logs and reports accurately and thoroughly.
* Maintaining accurate records of deliveries.
* Greeting and directing all visitors to reception.
* Building and maintaining productive working relations with staff and visitors.

• Monitor and patrol hotel premises to prevent and detect signs of theft, vandalism, or other illegal activity.
• Respond promptly to security alarms, emergencies, and guest inquiries.
• Conduct regular safety inspections of hotel facilities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security issues and provide assistance to guests.
• Report and document all incidents, accidents, and safety violations accurately and in a timely manner.

Service Care Solutions is working alongside a thriving local authority, based in Lancashire, which needs a Senior Litigation Lawyer to join their team and handle Criminal and Civil Litigation matters. This role involves management responsibilities and it would be well suited to someone who is looking to spearhead a team!

This position is a three-month rolling contract and they can pay a competitive rate of £55-£60ph umbrella. There is potential negotiation on the rate for the right candidate.

Responsibilities involved in the Senior Litigation Lawyer role

• Handle a mixed caseload of Criminal and Civil Litigation matters from start to completion.
• Manage a litigation legal team and provide support whenever necessary
• Provide expert legal counsel to the council and its departments on litigation risk, strategies, and decision-making
• Prepare cases and represent the council in courts and tribunals, ensuring well-prepared, effective advocacy

Requirements

• A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with Criminal and Civil Litigation experience
• Someone who has worked for a Local Authority within a litigation legal team
• Someone who can attend the county hall (Preston) once a week.
• Ideally someone with management experience
