37 Hours, Full Time - working five days between the hours of 7:00am to 11:00pm Mon-Sun. Four weekly Rota, including weekends. Bank Holiday working will be paid as overtime

Your Role
Our Council has responsibility for enforcing both on and off-street parking restrictions within Stockport to ensure the efficient movement of traffic, to improve road safety and the local environment.
We are looking for a conscientious person to make a positive contribution to our Parking Enforcement Team.
You will be working in all weathers patrolling all parking restrictions throughout Stockport, issuing tickets where contraventions have taken place as well as covering other duties such as checking pay and display equipment.
There are 4 vacancies, one on the early shift and three on the late shift.
The early shift:
07:00 hrs. 15:24 hrs. (Mon Fri)
08:00 hrs. - 16:24 hrs. (Sat)
Working one late evening (14:36 hrs. 23:00 hrs.) in four weeks and one Sunday (between 08:00 18:30 hrs.) in four weeks.
The late shift:
11:06 hrs. 19:30 hrs. (Mon Fri)
10:06 hrs. - 18:30 hrs. (Sat)

About You
You will have the ability to work on your own initiative and have excellent interpersonal and customer care skills to be able to deal with the public, sometimes in difficult situations.
A full UK driving licence and willingness to drive a Council vehicle is essential
