An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated person to join the Security Services Team at the University of Nottingham
You will be the first point of contact for a wide range of customers who visit our Security Reception desk answering general enquiries, dealing with parking permit applications and providing general administrative support to the Security team. You will issue University access cards and car parking permits and will deal with lost property, notifying owners and disposing of property where required.
You will help with the maintenance of Security databases and will work with the team to collate reports on crime statistics. You will also be involved in the weekly preparation of bank reconciliation forms for the transfer of cash payments into Bank of Pay and Display charges, lost property cash and fines.

As part of the training and development for this role the successful candidate will undertake an NVQ level 3 qualification in Business Administration. Further details will be provided at interview.

Hours of work are 36.25 per week, worked Monday to Friday between 7.45am and 4.00pm with flexibility to work occasional weekends as required. This post will be offered on a fixed term contact until 30 June 2025.
