Salary Information: The salary range for Arlington, VA (DCA - Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport) is $51,099 to $63,004 or $24.48 to $30.19 per hour and includes locality pay of 33.26%.

Sign-on Bonus: The Transportation Security Administration is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $2,000 for this location; paid out in two installments during the first 12 months of service. • Serve as the Chief Engineer providing expertise on all engineering aspects of explosive and threat detection technology. Lead the development of new engineering theories, concepts, principles methods, applications, and practices. Recommend strategies to improve existing detection requirements and the establishment of new detection requirements for emerging technologies.
• Brief and advise senior level officials on detection requirements which inform existing core TSA screening mission needs and operational requirements.
