This is an exciting and varied role within a growing team working within health research in Greater Manchester. Vocal (www.wearevocal.org) creates opportunities for people to find out about, and have a say in, health research. By bringing together patients, carers, artists, researchers, scientists and others to share their views, expertise and lived experiences, we deliver creative, innovative, award-winning programmes that enhance health and research. We are a not-for-profit organisation, hosted by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with The University of Manchester.
We are part of the NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre (MBRC) www.manchesterbrc.nihr.ac.uk and Manchester Clinical Research Facility (MCRF) www.research.cmft.nhs.uk/facilities-services/clinical-research-facility . This role is office based working at the Nowgen Centre, on the Oxford Road Hospital campus (M13 9WU) and will require occasional meetings at our partner hospital sites across Greater Manchester, e.g. The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust. Currently, the team is mainly working from home. We are financially independent and not-for profit. This role is based at the Nowgen Centre but also involves working off site within Greater Manchester in order to deliver projects.
