Post Title: Education and Enforcement Officer
Location: Wick
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Fixed-Term of 18 Months
Salary: £26,335 - £28,956 p.a.
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: Responsible for operational duties in relation to litter, fly-tipping, dog fouling, waste and abandoned vehicles.
Assist with general implementation of the Council policies in respect of litter, dogs and abandoned vehicles.

Requirements
A current UK driving licence and a commitment to regular travel across the Council area. Travel throughout Highland will be required.
Good general standard of education.
Ability to deal with potentially aggressive animals.
Ability to speak to school children, members of the public and businesses, and give advice on litter and responsible dog ownership.
