Your new role
You will be a part of their day-to-day security engineering team and will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security controls. You will play a big part in their transformation plans, which include new internal systems, as well as a move to the cloud in the long run.
- Document and maintain the security architecture standards.
- Define and document security architecture principles.
- Operate as a security architecture SME on security best practices, guidelines, and standards.
- Provide security architecture support on projects and designs.
- Deliver Security architecture reviews for internal technical designs.
- Support security management / IA Audit in BAU security assurance requirements including maintaining accreditation certification.
- Deliver security architecture and advice during transition & transformation.
- Define and document security architecture principles to meet information assurance controls.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a strong background within Security Architecture roles. You will ideally have some experience migrating to the cloud, but this is not essential. You'll need to work well as part of a team and be able to converse with different levels of stakeholder.

- Fantastic communication skills with strong and effective people skills
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills. You'll need to think on your feet and adapt to change.
- Experience in security architecture with a strong understanding of IT technologies and principles.
- Experience designing and delivering architecture plans.
- Experienced with influencing senior management on security best practice.
- Ability to be on site 2-3 days a week.
- Ability to obtain security clearance.
