Our client is an established group of PLC listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. They are currently seeking a ICSA professional to assume the role of Assistant Company Secretary within the corporate secretarial services and its subsidiaries. The role would suit an ICSA qualified individual with previous secretarial experience ideally working within a listed environment. Please note that despite the position title name 'Secretary',the role is absolutely not clearical or private secretarial function in nature.

Job Description

As Assistant Company Secretary within PLC, you will support the Senior Company Secretary in ensuring the delivery of a professional, effective, high quality corporate secretarial service to support the activities of the Board, Shareholders and Executive team.

Key elements of the role.

*Assist in preparing Directors' resolutions,minutes of the Board,Committee and shareholders meeting and announcements to Bursa Malaysia.

*Organize,coordinate and attend Board/Committee meetings and AGM/EGM.

*Ensure timely submission statutory forms,returns and notifications in accordance with the requirements of the Companies Act, Bursa Malaysia Listing requirements.

*Assist the Company Secretary in handling all aspects of corporate secretarial and share registration services.

*Assist in the preparation of annual reports and circulars to shareholders and provide corporate secretarial support for corporate exercises.

Candidate skills & experience

*Malaysian female in age group 30-45.

*ICSA qualified graduate.

*5-8 years of work experience in corporate secretarial role with exposure to public listed environment.

*Well versed with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements,Companies Act, corporate governance codes and regulations and applicable companies legislation.

*Knowledge in share registration is an advantage.

*Good strong communication skills with good command of English, both spoken and written.

Job Role:

Liaise and maintain good customer service relationships with site staff, visitors, customers and management team. To manage an effective working relationship with all, whilst representing the site and CIS-Security Ltd.
Manage and maintain the Site Operational Working Roster.
Maintain effective communication, both verbal and written, always ensuring the customer is aware of all operational developments.
Carry out any tasks and report back as directed or instructed by the customer or CIS Management.

Oversee the collation of Sickness / lateness records daily and update ready for performance related meetings and monthly reporting.

Ensure all contract manning requirements are managed and met on a weekly basis; and arrange response cover as required in liaison with CIS Control Room. Manage and implement all requests for additional security cover and where necessary obtain only additional trained staff.

Demonstrate proactive management of the Security Team.
Provide relief / break cover for Security Officers if required.

Maintain a good level of morale and discipline within the team taking into consideration their welfare.
Ensure that all staff are regularly briefed.
Liaise with the Customer and CIS Director on all matters relating to the security of the premises, including, reporting on matters of discipline and welfare.
Ensure that an effective handover takes place at the end of the night shift with the
Site Manager: and, that all Keys, Equipment and Documentation are properly accounted for. This should be recorded in a separate log. Any discrepancies, faults or malfunctions should be immediately reported to the CIS Senior Director.
Communicate all matters in writing and verbally to all members of staff ensuring continuity.

As a Cyber Security Risk Assessor within the CySAAS team, you will lead a team providing timely, impartial and consistent assurance, assessment and advisory services across Defence.

Senior personnel will rely on your expertise to ensure they have an accurate understanding of through-life cyber security risks, so they can make informed business decisions. You will work with projects that involve complex technical and security challenges, which may include highly sensitive networks, cryptography and next-generation military vehicles and weapons systems.

Along the way, you will strengthen links with other cyber security bodies and business functions - from business delivery partners who provide project-based assurance activities, to industry trade bodies and organisations which deliver Information Technology (IT).

As an experienced cyber security leader, you will bring to the role a proven ability to communicate at all levels of a diverse organisation. As thought leadership will be a key aspect of the role, you will need to demonstrate a talent for solving complex problems through innovation. You will have the ability to advise on complex risk balance decisions; to explain cyber security policy, governance and technology to non-experts; and to lead a diverse team of skilled cyber security professionals. Responsibilities

Provision of timely, impartial and consistent assurance, assessment and advisory services across Defence, to ensure that senior leaders have an accurate understanding of through-life cyber risks and can make informed business decisions.
Leadership of cyber security assessment personnel. This may include management of Assessors to ensure:
Strategic direction for MOD cyber security assurance is on track.
Functional mentoring and professional training and development are achieved.
Assurance related management information is accurate and up to date.
Workloads are balanced efficiently.
Ensuring assurance activities are completed in accordance with Government policy, including escalating risks, explained in business terms, to aid the Senior Leader’s decision-making process.
Strengthening links with internal and external stakeholders in other cyber security bodies and business functions across Defence, including Defence Intelligence, Defensive Cyber Operations, Principal Security Advisors, industry trade bodies and liaising with other Government Authorities as appropriate; building relationships through encouraging CySAAS attendance at appropriate events.
Work to develop a pan-Defence culture which values and protects data appropriately. Lead transformation programmes, within your area of responsibility.
Taking appropriate action as required in response to issues/events e.g., tiger teaming, deep dives.

The post holder will lead the Legal Services Team at LNWH. They will be responsible for embedding the principles of continuous improvement to enable the legal services team to provide a responsive, resolution-focused and effective inquest and legal claims service at LNWH. The role supports us put Quality at our HEART.

The post holder will lead and actively seek opportunities to improve our inquest and claims management.The poster holder will review the current inquest and claims process and will identify and address any gaps in best practice. The post holder will implement best practice in management of inquests and claims.

You must have an engaging personality, a belief in the need to continuously improve and the methods to enable this. You will be responsible for overseeing improvement programmes and projects within the legal services team.


1. To provide a responsive, resolution-focused and effective inquest and legal claims service within the Trust.
2. Lead the legal team to ensure that the Trustmanagement of legal claims and inquests is responsive, timely and effective and staff are supported with legal queries.
3. Ensure statutory and organisational requirements in respect of legal services are met.
4. Ensure that claims are managed with appropriate thoroughness and impartiality and that all claims receive a full, quality and timely response that delivers the best outcome for the claimant and for the service.
5. Manage all dealings with the Coroner and requests for reports for inquests and any subsequent summons of Attend and advocate at straightforward inquests and instruct external solicitors if risk to the Trust is high.
6. Advise staff on legal queries relating to patient treatment in a timely manner or escalate to the CMO Office when specialist legal advice is needed.
7. Embed a culture of continuous improvement and lead on the delivery of transformation and improvement projects to improve inquests and claims management at LNWH.
8. Map the legal services processes, develop improvement plans and oversee theirdelivery.
9. Work across a broad range of teams and functions – requiring the ability to create value and capability – working in partnership with clinical and non- clinicalstaff
