Security Compliance & Awareness Manager

Salary: £40,470 + company car
Reporting to Account Director - M&S
Job purpose
-Maintain a safe and secure environment for colleagues and customers
-Proactive point of contact for all Stores, Regions and Divisional teams to help drive security consistency, execution and culture
-Promote great customer service delivery across all security touchpoints in stores
Scope of the role
-Divisional portfolio of Stores and Regions
-Deputises for Operational Security Manager
Key accountabilities and measures
-Implement effective ways to raise colleagues' awareness and understanding of safety and security. Promote a security culture and great customer service from all security touchpoints across the Division.
-Validate and improve utilisation compliance of all security resources and tools provided e.g. SPO, SOC, Auror, Body Worn cameras, and security tagging
-Validate all security equipment (CCTV, Access Control, EAS, alarms) maintenance issues are logged and escalate to stakeholders to drive resolution in line with agreed SLA's
-Share security performance metrics with RM and agree collaborative ways of working to improve assured security delivery
-Coach, Mentor, and support Region/Store teams to own their part in driving a safety and security culture
-Communicate and engage and work collaboratively with key Stakeholders and Regional BIG teams to drive improved awareness on security consistency, execution and culture
-Carry out store listening groups across the Division/Regions to improve overall awareness and compliance
-Deliver the Annual Security consistency and execution risk assessment programme across all stores across the Division, measuring outputs and identifying areas of improvement through:
-Physically delivering the assessment in the agreed number of high risk stores
-Driving store self-assessment completion
-Support where required any new security solutions/initiatives to ensure they are embedded well and deliver the benefits expected.
-Feedback to the SOC and Connected Security team on examples of poor delivery and service
-Ensure confidentiality of Business information is maintained throughout
-Part of the Divisional Management team as required
-Implement goals targets and objectives as set by Head of Group Security and report back on performance.

-Able to coach and mentor store teams to drive understanding, awareness and culture
-Able to actively listen, question and clarify to drive consistency in execution
-Able to analyse data, use spreadsheets and other software, to measure, monitor and improve security consistency, execution and culture.
-Able to present clearly and succinctly security risks and store performance to Divisional/Regional stakeholders
-Able to demonstrate a good knowledge of risk assessment, and apply Risk Management principles across the regions and stores
-Able to prioritise workload and deliver to critical path timings
-Able to facilitate training workshops
Systems Skills
-Able to interrogate a range of security systems to assist in driving improvement across regions and stores
-Be seen as an expert on all security tools, resources and services; to drive improvements in utilisation and consistency
-Demonstrate understanding of all relevant M&S processes, systems and stakeholders to support role
