We are looking for an Interim Legal Project Manager to support with the management of large teams of paralegals. The role will require some office attendance will be required so easily commutable distance to Bristol is essential. Experience in Legal Services would be beneficial.

This will be working on a day rate basis via Umbrella company although there are opportunities for this role to lead more permanent opportunities.

Your Role
As a Contract Legal Project Manager you will:

• Work directly with lawyers and clients on the development of matter plans, pricing, budgets, timelines and documentation of clearly-defined scopes and assumptions on client matters, transactions, cases, outsourcing and projects.
• Manage matters, projects and portfolios to help deliver work on time, on budget and within scope, managing scope and cost creep and engaging with key stakeholders (to include clients, partners and other colleagues) to deliver each project as required.
• Assist partners and other colleagues in proposals and bids for where legal project management core to successful legal service delivery.
• Apply a consistent LPM approach on all matters.
• Work with the Head of LPM and the Senior LPMs team to help upskill people throughout the firm.
• Be an advocate for TLT’s LPM capability inside and outside the firm.
• This is a hybrid working role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office and occasional travel to other TLT or client offices.

Your Skills and Experience

• Law degree or equivalent qualification
• Project Management qualification (our preference is APM)
• Min 3 years working in a project manager role
• Knowledge of and experience using leading project management tools including MS Project
• Experience in managing legal projects using established project management methodologies.
• An understanding of legal matter reporting
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• A creative approach to problem solving with an ability to manage critical issues quickly and effectively.
• Strong analytical and project management skills including a thorough understanding of how to interpret the client's business needs and translate them into business/operational requirements.
• A proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to engage with stakeholders throughout the business at all levels and across legal teams and business services.
• End to end experience of a variety of different legal projects including litigation, corporate transactions, real estate transactions, contract management and remediation as well as involvement in software and service procurement and implementation, software development, business process review and reorganisation and transformation projects.
• The ability to deliver and embed Legal and other Tech into a firm with particularly focus on change management.
• Experience of working in the legal sector, or professional services environment within a project management team.

The Security Shift Manager will provide exceptional leadership and direction in the management of the Security Team which is responsible for supporting and managing all centre operations during retailer trading hours. To provide clear and timely communication to all within the centre and management on key issues that affect the business operation and customer service delivery. As the Security Shift Manager, you will be responsible for the ‘live' operation of the Mitie Security Team that manages the essential functions of;

-All common and public areas of the shopping centre

-Emergency and evacuation procedures

-Health safety & welfare of security personnel

-Incidents that affect Centre Operations

-Building security and safety

-Leadership and direction to security personnel on duty to ensure all issues are dealt with correctly and within a timely manner

-Ensure that complete and updated Assignment Instructions and SOP's are being followed. Where this is not the case ensure that corrective actions are raised accordingly

-Ensure standards of dress, safety and presentation are maintained within the centre Mitie team at all times

-Provide continued training and coaching to all staff members to enhance performance and provide job enrichment

-Ensure that all staff are site trained and have signed the Assignment Instructions

-To assist in the recruitment process of new staff for the centre security team

-Handle all day to day enquiries which arise from whatever source in respect of the daily operation of the security of the centre.

-To develop and maintain good working relations with applicable local agencies and services.

The role

As a Senior Security Manager, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. This pivotal role entails providing high-level security support for a key MoD Contract within the Mission Systems business. You'll be responsible for ensuring the seamless and comprehensive delivery of all Contract-related security matters, guaranteeing the ongoing safe and secure operation of our business.

This position is crucial within the realm of security for mission systems and the wider Babcock group, offering substantial responsibility and involvement in an innovative team.

Day to day you will:

• Ensuring that all security requirements are met by the Contract and are compliant with Babcock Policy and other internal requirements as well as all external contractual obligations, legal requirements, and policy frameworks. This will require a sound knowledge and broad experience of managing Physical Security, Personnel Security, IT Security, IA Risk Management practices across a complex and agile business.

• Leading on the collaboration of effective security plans and providing timely input to the Customer led Security Working Group.

• Overseeing the development of Movement Plans and Risk Assessments around deployable assets both UK and overseas.

• Providing support and ensuring compliance to Prime Contract obligations in accordance with Delegated Authority approval and Security process requirements.

• Working collaboratively with the project teams to provide timely advice and accurate interpretations of security conditions associated with Contracting Authority security requirements. In addition, to support Commercial and Supply Chain activities ensuring such security conditions are properly flowed down and accurately implemented.

• Fostering and promoting a key liaison role at all levels within the Contract and acting as the focal point lead for all security matters for the Authority.

• Responsibility for regulating, monitoring, and reporting on the secure operating processes of all protective security systems.

This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with 1 or 2 days in the office each week at our Ashton Vale site.

Essential experience of the Senior Security Manager

• A thorough working knowledge of all aspects of the Cabinet Office Security framework GOV S007as well as JSP 440 and other relevant and associated publications.

• Strong experience leading and developing a team of skilled security professionals.

• Good knowledge of security risk management practices and the identification, implementation and monitoring of current risk mitigation techniques and processes.

• Experience of producing accurate security risk assessments and being able to recommend proportionate mitigations and solutions to risk and vulnerabilities.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC clearance level for this role.
