** Legal Support Assistant - Probate **
IMMEDIATE START AND INTERVIEWS

- This will be an office-based role
- Based in Guildford, Surrey
A well-established Law firm based in Guildford is seeking an experienced Legal Support Assistant to support with a team of Fee Earners in relation to Probate as well as supporting with Property and other areas as and when required.
Working in a small, yet friendly team, you will be responsible for supporting the Fee Earners with the following duties:
- Audio and copy typing
- Diary management
- Email management
- Database management
- Filing, photocopying, scanning
- Daily banking/postal duties
- Reception - meet and greet
- Completing HMRC Inheritance Tax forms
- Drafting Oaths and other documents relating to Probate applications
- Making applications for Grants of Probate
- Drafting client correspondence
- Dealing with Land Registry Services, OCE's, Leases, Priority searches, bankruptcy searches
- LMS administration and renewal
- Speaking with clients and other parties relating to specific matters
Requirements:
- Proven experience of managing client facing tasks and priorities, with a hands on, practical approach
- Effective at investigating issues and seeing a problem through to conclusion
- Conscientious, taking personal responsibility for own work and accountability for its delivery and quality
- Excellent team player, sharing in team goals to provide excellent quality and efficiency of service, with a willingness to take on new responsibilities and challenges
- Positive can-do attitude with the ability to adapt to change
- Confidential and discreet but able to redirect information when appropriate to ensure areas of concern are resolved effectively
- Well organised and methodical with excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all client communications and deliverables
