Responsible for providing technical guidance in Personnel Security, Suitability, and Investigation Program for the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP).

Directs and coordinates investigations of applicants, employees, and contractors who are seeking or are employed in sensitive positions within the BOP.

Determine the adequacy and completeness of investigations; and evaluate the authenticity and pertinence of information to the case under adjudication.

Communicates directly with BOP employees at all levels to answer routine questions regarding the basic personnel security program.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated National Security Clearance at all times. Failure to obtain/maintain this clearance may results in the person being selected being reassigned to their former position or a position similar to the position they held prior to selection.

This Supervisory Transportation Security Officer position is located at Gerald R Ford International (GRR), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). As a Supervisory Transportation Security Officer (STSO), you will be responsible for mitigating actual and potential threats against civil aviation and other transportation modes. You will also perform and supervise in your area of specialty, which may include Transportation Security Officers (TSOs) and Lead Transportation Security Officers (LTSOs) in the performance of all security functions related to the screening of people, property, and cargo through the use and application of procedures, techniques, and technology. In addition, you will make independent, security-based decisions using intelligence, critical thinking, experience, observation, and passenger engagement. Typical duties include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting and supervising subordinate employees in conducting pre-board security screening of persons, their carry-on and checked baggage/cargo.
• Overseeing screening checkpoint(s) and/or baggage screening operations on a day-to-day basis to include equipment, personnel, and the scheduling and rotation of personnel.
• Participating in the development of new policies and procedures, and recommending changes in policy and procedures based on observation of work, as required.
• Participating in the development of strategic planning initiatives, workforce planning, succession planning initiatives, and other reports and documents for TSA and superiors.
• Engaging in continuous development of critical thinking skills necessary to mitigate security threats by identifying, evaluating, and applying appropriate situational options and approaches.
• Preparing various types of communications such as morning briefings, checkpoint logs, reports, and documents that are germane to the work performed.
• Developing incident information and reports for Law Enforcement Officers (LEOs) and superiors.
• Serving as a member of the National Screening Force.

• Works with supervisory and management personnel to ensure appropriate equipment is planned for in budgets to keep survey systems up to date with current technology.
• Provides recommendations made in a timely manner in order to make inclusions or deletions to current and future budget processes.
• Develops work methods and procedures to ensure proper work operations and functioning equipment.
• Prepares and/or reviews all required reports and records and handles all administrative work required in connection with surveys such as safety and accident reports, and progress reports.
• Meets to confer with representatives of other governmental or public interest groups.
• Determines dredging contract quantities and meets with dredging contractors in order to coordinate Pre and Post dredging surveys in a manner that will least effect dredging operations.
• Safely and properly operates all necessary motorized and non-motorized equipment, and maintains, troubleshoots and performs minor repairs on all survey related equipment.

Persyaratan: 

• Lulus pendidikan DIII atau S1 dari Program Studi Teknik Sipil atau Arsitektur dari universitas ternama. 
• Memiliki pengalaman kerja minimal 2 tahun di posisi Civil & Finishing Inspector, terutama di proyek landed house atau real estate di perusahaan pengembang properti ternama. . 
• Memiliki keterampilan mengoperasikan komputer, terutama untuk program Microsoft Office.
• Bersedia ditempatkan di proyek Agung Podomoro di daerah Tenjo, Kabupaten Bogor.

Tanggung jawab : 

• Melakukan pengawasan terhadap kualitas pekerjaan sipil dan finishing yang dilakukan oleh kontraktor. 
• Memastikan pelaksanaan pekerjaan sipil dan finishing di lapangan sesuai dengan jadwal yang telah ditetapkan. 
• Memberikan teguran kepada kontraktor yang melakukan pekerjaan sipil dan finishing tidak sesuai dengan standard kualitas. 
• Memastikan mutu material sesuai dengan spesifikasi kualitas yang telah ditetapkan. 
• Menyusun laporan secara periodik mengenai perkembangan pekerjaan di lapangan dan kendala yang dihadapi di lapangan kepada Construction Manager.
