As a Public Health Analyst (Policy & Issues Management) you will:

• Develop projects to identify, review, and analyze complex and highly visible actions such as public health legislation, executive directives, Departmental policy issuances, voluntary changes in practice by influential organizations or groups, as well as other problems, issues, or program requirements that may be unstable or complex and that have the potential to impact public health as well as the activities of the division, center, and/or coordinating center.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with other organizational units within Centers for Disease Control (CDC) including other national centers, and offices within the CDC Office of the Director, CDC Washington, FMO/Leg, and others; other Federal agencies and quasi-governmental groups such as the CDC Foundation; and other key partners including national and international organizations.
• Develop new public health programmatic initiatives and assess issues of importance to the mission and activities of the program.
• Identify strategic programmatic and public health areas in need of strengthening as well as new areas for program development.
• Respond to Congressional/Executive Branch inquiries and correspondence requesting information regarding CDC strategies, programs, and responses to health problems; data; and general information requested about health problems.
• Develop materials to explain programs to the general public and to specific groups including Congressional staff, legislative committees and subcommittees, state policy makers, Departmental and other executive branch officials, and other groups interested in specific program activities.

• Respond to Federal Employees Health Benefits (FEHB) inquiries from Federal enrollees and/or their authorized representatives, including responses on appeals of disputed health benefit claims, benefits regulations, and other program related inquiries.
• Prepares written directives for the Contracting Officer's signature requiring carriers to provide benefits, as appropriate.
• Respond to general inquiries concerning disputed claim regulations, health insurance coverage, and Federal enrollment eligibility.
• Perform research and obtain additional information from outside sources, including the health benefits Plan and providers.
• Consult with internal clinical advisors (e.g. nurse) to resolve disputed health benefits claims and develop responses to inquiries and correspondence.
• Conduct thorough case analysis on disputed health benefits claims.
• Develop a written appeal response that is based on analysis and FEHB Program benefit policies and guidelines.
• Track trends and systemic claim processing errors that surface from the disputed claim appeal process in order to provide recommendations to the Health Insurance Specialists for carrier to take corrective action or make contract language improvements.

• Serving as the on-site Security Specialist POC for OCSO and provides headquarters with support and advisories related to all OCSO security management activities.
• Developing, installation and management of the comprehensive and multilayered security programs at the facility by reviewing and assessing all areas of security.
• Conducting risk assessments, implementing countermeasures and procedures and practices to cover multiple security objectives.
• Coordinating with Federal Protective Services, all inter agency personnel, and requisite task forces to identify, resolve security issues through integration of varied objectives and enhance security and operational requirements of FEMA.

We are looking for an Interim Legal Project Manager to support with the management of large teams of paralegals. The role will require some office attendance will be required so easily commutable distance to Bristol is essential. Experience in Legal Services would be beneficial.

This will be working on a day rate basis via Umbrella company although there are opportunities for this role to lead more permanent opportunities.

Your Role
As a Contract Legal Project Manager you will:

• Work directly with lawyers and clients on the development of matter plans, pricing, budgets, timelines and documentation of clearly-defined scopes and assumptions on client matters, transactions, cases, outsourcing and projects.
• Manage matters, projects and portfolios to help deliver work on time, on budget and within scope, managing scope and cost creep and engaging with key stakeholders (to include clients, partners and other colleagues) to deliver each project as required.
• Assist partners and other colleagues in proposals and bids for where legal project management core to successful legal service delivery.
• Apply a consistent LPM approach on all matters.
• Work with the Head of LPM and the Senior LPMs team to help upskill people throughout the firm.
• Be an advocate for TLT’s LPM capability inside and outside the firm.
• This is a hybrid working role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office and occasional travel to other TLT or client offices.

Your Skills and Experience

• Law degree or equivalent qualification
• Project Management qualification (our preference is APM)
• Min 3 years working in a project manager role
• Knowledge of and experience using leading project management tools including MS Project
• Experience in managing legal projects using established project management methodologies.
• An understanding of legal matter reporting
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint
• A creative approach to problem solving with an ability to manage critical issues quickly and effectively.
• Strong analytical and project management skills including a thorough understanding of how to interpret the client's business needs and translate them into business/operational requirements.
• A proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to engage with stakeholders throughout the business at all levels and across legal teams and business services.
• End to end experience of a variety of different legal projects including litigation, corporate transactions, real estate transactions, contract management and remediation as well as involvement in software and service procurement and implementation, software development, business process review and reorganisation and transformation projects.
• The ability to deliver and embed Legal and other Tech into a firm with particularly focus on change management.
• Experience of working in the legal sector, or professional services environment within a project management team.
