• Responsible for the receipt and effective evaluation of emergency calls, to include installation fire, police, ambulance service, emergency medical dispatch, and Integrated Commercial Intrusion Detection System.
• Provides emergency medical dispatching assistance to callers with medical emergencies using the Priority Dispatch Emergency Medical Dispatcher system.
• Identifies the nature of emergency, level of response required, and provides this and any additional information to the responding units.
• Employee initiates an immediate, appropriate emergency response and provides the caller with advanced life support.
• Monitors and logs status and availability of police, fire and medical first responders to assure appropriate response are made.
• Maintains an accurate status of emergency response equipment and personnel to assure prompt and accurate response.

Provide legal support across the full range of Army Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) and NAFI practice areas, with an emphasis on NAF contracting, including acquisition strategy, statement of work preparation, solicitation, drafting, negotiation and administration of contracts; contract claims and disputes; vendor agreements, public private ventures and debt collection; acquisition and use of NAF property and interests in real property including facility construction, and maintenance and restoration. As well as fiscal law matters involving the application of fiscal law statutes, regulations and budget policies as they pertain to non-appropriated and appropriated funds.

Provide advice and guidance in the areas of Freedom of Information Act/Privacy Act matters, and other administrative law matters resulting from operations and responsibilities of operating large military installations.

Provides oral and written legal advice concerning the activities of IMCOM G-9.

Performs in-depth legal research.

Serves as ethics counselor.

Coordinates actions with other staff elements and with installations, IMCOM Staff, IMCOM Directorates, AMC, Department of the Army, and higher level legal and staff offices, as appropriate.

• Direct police patrols and coordinate the overall law enforcement program for the installation.
• Plan work assignments and schedules personnel to ensure successful accomplishment of assigned missions and responsibilities.
• Ensure emergency responses by police personnel are dispatched in accordance with installation requirements.
• Review police reports, forms, and records for compliance with Army and local regulations.
• Serve as a police officer to reduce threats of violence, apprehend violators, and enforce state and federal laws and Army and local regulations.

• Exercise exclusive law enforcement jurisdiction responsible for the, apprehension or detention of persons suspected or convicted of offenses against the criminal laws of the United States.
• Collect and preserve evidence.
• Patrol assigned area by vehicle or on foot to preserve the peace, prevent crime, and protect lives and property.
• Respond to and investigate emergency calls, complaints and other calls.
• Protect government property, materials and facilities against trespass, theft, fire, damage and espionage.
• Operate National Crime Information Center (NCIC) terminal in accordance with Federal and State laws.

• Serve as a Work Leader for Public Safety Dispatchers.
• Answer 911 calls, conducts emergency and non-emergency call processing using Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) consoles or CAD capability through NG911 modernization, if applicable, and or Land Mobile Radios (LMR).
• Monitor Installation computerized fire and Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (ICIDS) alarm systems.
• Refer non-emergent callers to appropriate civilian and governmental agencies.

• Responsible for the receipt and effective evaluation of 911 emergency calls; prioritizing all incoming emergency and non-emergency calls; identification of and level of response necessary for responding units.
• Provides emergency medical dispatching (EMD) assistance to callers with medical emergencies using the local authority emergency medical dispatch system.
• Monitors status and availability of police, fire and medical units to assure an appropriate response is made. Updates information for police, medical, and fire personnel enroute to call.
• Maintain reports and retrieves needed statistical information using fire incident reporting system(s).

• Provide emergency services to the public by answering emergency 911 calls and responding with appropriate personnel and equipment.
• Question caller to determine the problem and the nature of the call.
• Retrieve statistical information from computerized databases.
• Monitor computerized fire alarm system and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS).
• Maintain an accurate status of all emergency response equipment and personnel to ensure prompt and accurate response.
• Operate Computer Aided Dispatching (CAD) system, radios, and station alerting systems.
• Provide initial Incident Command support until responding emergency units arrive on scene.
• Provide emergency medical dispatching assistance to callers with medical emergencies.

• Independently, or as a team member, conduct investigations to apprehend and/or detain persons committing crimes against persons and property.
• Collect and submit to crime laboratory evidence such as fingerprints, blood, stains, suspected narcotics, weapons, castings of foot and tire impressions, documents, etc., using special investigative techniques and equipment.
• Serve as Point of Contact for civil law enforcement agencies required to serve due process to military and civilian personnel on the installation.
• Analyze data to identify suspects and develop case information for use in pressing charges and bringing suspects to trial.
• Evaluate evidence, laboratory findings and statements to determine motives, methods and responsible individuals.
• Assist civil law enforcement personnel in locating soldiers, civilians or military dependents employed within the jurisdictional boundaries.

• Serves as a Shift Leader who is an assistant to the Guard Shift Supervisor.
• Instructs employees in specific tasks and job techniques, and provides on-the-job training to new employees in accordance with established procedures.
• Stands guard at a variety of fixed posts within the installation, exercising those stringent security measures necessary to monitor and provide appropriate level of control of the personnel and vehicles on the installation.
• Patrols designated areas by vehicle or foot to check perimeter locks, fence gates, and restricted areas.
• Patrols installation perimeters to detect faulty fences, patrols installation waterways bordering the installation, trespassing violations, and attempted theft of federal property.
• Operates as a member of the Quick Response Force (QRF), during actual or simulated incidents.
• Provides protection to very important persons (VIPs) to include, but not limited to General Officers, foreign dignitaries and high-ranking members of the government.
