Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Structural Design Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to help deliver bridge design projects across Florida and the US.
Candidates for this role should be located in Florida within a commutable distance of one of our offices.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Designing and detailing bridges and other transportation structures.
- Designing and analyzing both routine and complex structures.
- Assuming responsibilities as Engineer of Record.
- Working in a team environment to help deliver large multi-discipline transportation projects. Collaborating with other engineering disciplines including: geotechnical, civil, traffic and ITS.
- Collaborating with senior engineers and directing junior engineers.
- Communicating with clients and contractors to resolve technical issues.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering and typically 5+ years of related work experience. In addition, an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certificate or a Professional Engineer registration may be required
- Demonstrated proficiency with structural analysis software.
- Previous experience designing steel and concrete bridges.

Salary Range:
$68,400.00 - $142,600.00
