Your new role
You will be joining the team in one of three possible locations as a Senior Software Engineer. In this role your day-to-day responsibilities will include, designing and developing on-board and ground test software for payloads. You will be a proactive team player, who will solve root cause issues using strong analytical skills, estimating resources for completing software solutions, and effectively documenting and presenting information. You will have the flexibility and willingness to travel to other locations when necessary.

Please note that due to the nature of this work, you will need to hold the full right to work in the UK, and have the ability to pass a Security Clearance.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, it is essential you can demonstrate the ability to derive software designs from requirements. You will have experience developing Python applications and modules, and developing C/C++ for Linux systems. Prior experience with formal development processes and tools like Git and Jenkins is also required. It's a bonus if you can demonstrate a track record of innovation, designing high availability and secure software systems. Furthermore, knowledge of wireless telecommunications, Python numerical libraries, radio frequency test equipment, Linux kernel, device drivers, and an understanding of electronics hardware. Your new role
In this role you will oversee the entire product development lifecycle for satellite communication products, including the specification, design, and validation of products. Your key responsibilities will include detailed circuit design, effectively communicating with and directing PCB layout teams, delivering manufacturing work-packages. And finally, supporting integration, validation, and qualification processes.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need a minimum of two years of experience in hardware product design, ideally with a background in satellite or payload equipment development. We are looking for an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to undertake the maintenance and repair of air conditioning equipment. This includes service, maintenance, and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems and heat pumps. You may also be required to work on specific refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets / multideck or ice machines.

You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of manufacturer plants, for example, Daikin, Mitsubishi, Media, Toshiba, and LG. Understanding installation designs and bespoke manufacturer trouble shooting procedures, whilst also being comfortable with seeking manufacturer technical support autonomously is desirable. You will be expected to complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections reports and remedial work.

Candidates will have a full current driving licence and be willing to participate in an On-Call rota. You'll be capable of performing manual tasks, including manual handling, working at heights and in confined spaces. Good verbal and written communication are important, including the ability to use a handheld computer device (PDA). You'll need to be highly self-motivated, and solutions focussed with the ability to work without supervision but also enjoy working as part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have experience within a Maintenance / Facilities Management environment. You must have relevant qualifications e.g., FGAS & ODS regs, time served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent. As a Senior Finance System Administrator, you will work closely with the Finance Systems Manager to proactively maintain and develop the use of LSTM Group’s core finance system and associated software. We are looking for someone who is solution focused with the technical and communication skills to lead change effectively and support colleagues on that journey.

This is a role that is diverse and interesting, as no two days are the same. You will be upgrading, installing systems and carrying out maintenance works, inspections and fault finding.

You will keep the clients updated with any developments, recording all activities, remedial works, inspection logs etc and ensure a high level of customer service and will need good verbal and written communication and comfortable working with IT to record your tasks and updates.

You will be Level 2 and 3 City and Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (AND/OR?) 17th or 18th edition.

The ideal candidate would have a background in facilities management, mobile maintenance or construction with project work within a region.
