As an Acute Automation Technology Pharmacy Technician joining the team, you will become part of an elite professional group of technicians and work alongside a motivated team to provide first class service to our patients. You will have an emphasis on controlled substance compliance and be responsible for running daily and weekly reports to ensure compliance with state and federal controlled substance laws. As the pyxis specialist will assist pharmacists and technicians and other staff in the safe, effective, and efficient operation of the automated medication distribution process; coordinates setup, new builds, installations and expansions, ensuring that all systems, such as network, emergency power, space, etc., are ready for the unit ‘go-live’ and establish and review daily batch reports, such as refill reports, stock out reports, all station events, discrepancies, overrides, ordered meds not loaded, etc.  You will communicate the status of system projects, activities and issues to pharmacy, nursing, and other appropriate staff; inform system operations team of any upcoming HIS interface software changes, nursing unit moves, or other activities that may affect the proper functioning of the system; and monitor system activities and communications with the main hospital information system. Additional responsibilities to include: install new hardware or software when required; troubleshoot the system as issues arise; perform physical inspection of stations, and make or coordinate any necessary repairs; ensure the stations are updated to conform with changes to the formulary; manage the user database and maintain an up-to-date user list and activates, deactivate and delete users as necessary; manage inventory of units, review and adjust par levels, monitor expiration dates, and review orders against medications withdrawn from the stations. You will also establish the training necessary for each user group to effectively use the system and create training modules and train or facilitate training of new hires and re-educates existing staff in all user groups, including Nursing, Anesthesia, Pharmacy, etc. We are looking for a strong Pyxis and Cerner understanding. POSITION SUMMARY
This position functions in a support capacity for automated technology systems related to pharmacy distribution. This includes implementation, monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting and maintenance of the automated dispensing systems and computer software. Serves as the liaison between the pharmacy and nursing with regard to automated distribution systems. Interacts and trains pharmacy staff, physicians, and nursing staff on automated dispensing technology.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Provides support in the implementation, installation, maintenance and updating of technology systems related to pharmacy distribution. Coordinate and review implementation plans, monitor and assist installation activities conducted by hospital staff and outside vendors to ensure agreed timetables are maintained. Coordinate information gathering process, including file building, configuration, construction related activities to ensure data integrity and adequate supply resources including delivery of equipment, network drops, and configuration of space on the patient care units, configuration of the cabinet(s) and establishment of inventory and par levels. Act as a liaison to other hospital departments for installation activities and post installation maintenance.

2. Serves as a resource to physicians, hospital personnel, and pharmacy staff in interpreting department/hospital/system policies. Regarding automated dispensing systems, acts as a resource, and may provide training to pharmacy staff, physicians, and nursing staff on the pharmacy distribution systems ensuring all parties have appropriate understanding of the system.
 

3. Monitors and evaluates system activities to ensure systems run properly. Coordinates site visits from vendors for upgrades and maintenance, as needed. Identifies and resolves problems with the medication distribution system, as well as assists in the development and implementation of programs to improve and enhance service quality. This includes analyzing data reports and educating staff on research findings, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues with existing system programs and making recommendations to the respective vendors for upgrades.
 

4. Review historical data on patient-care-unit specific medication use trends. Interpret data, make recommendations and implement inventory changes in order to maintain safe and appropriate selection of standard stock. Keep adequate supplies on each patient care unit. Coordinate removal of infrequently used non-standard stock items to improve space and medication utilization. Produce a statistically valid analysis of overall automated dispensing system accuracy monthly, including overrides, stockouts, refills, etc.
 

5. Analyzes financial reports generated by the technology systems for the pharmacy department. Presents reports to management and assists with the resolution of issues identified. Work with Manager, Medication Safety and Regulatory Compliance to ensure safe and appropriate selection of floor stock medications throughout the hospital and clinics and review requests for new additions to floor stock. Coordinate approved changes with Pharmacy Purchasing and Inventory Coordinator.
 

6. Act as a liaison to the information technology department as it relates to troubleshooting and resolving technology system related issues. Serve as a liaison between pharmacy and Patient Service Managers during system upgrades and enhancements, coordinate facility moves of machines and related technology and new system installations including medication inventory and IT needs. Provide support to nursing staff during implementation of practice changes relating to the medication distribution system.

7. Assumes the duties of the Acute Pharmacy Technician when needed and as appropriate. These duties may include, but not be limited to preparing, charging and crediting medications, restocking automated dispensing technology and compounding specialty medications and intravenous medications.

 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Requires pharmacy technician licensure and active pharmacy technician certification OR Pharmacy Intern licensure in the state of practice.

Incumbents in Arizona are also required to provide the AZ Board of Pharmacy Wallet Card at time of hire.

Minimum of four years pharmacy technician experience. Must have experience working with automated technology systems related to pharmacy distribution. Ability to complete moderate to difficult mathematical calculations using a hand-held calculator is required. Strong customer service focus, exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, prioritization capabilities, superior problem-solving skills, and ability to multi-task. Must have knowledge of computer software, particularly medication management information system software, Microsoft applications and automated dispensing systems. Must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills for interfacing with all levels of staff, physicians, patients, and other contacts.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position repairs, adjusts, calibrates, and optimizes the building control systems. This position works out of the Facilities Services Remote Operations Center (ROC) to support facility-based plant personnel to maintain optimum performance of plant equipment. This work may include field service and/or remote servicing of the Building Management Systems (BMS) across the organization.

CORE FUNCTIONS
1. Trade level position that installs, adjusts, repairs, and troubleshoots controls of large heating ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, utility plant systems, lighting systems, and general building control systems. Controls, calibrates, and troubleshoots pressures, flows, temperatures, and speed of chillers, pumps, air handlers, terminal units, heat exchangers, etc.

2. Operates, maintains, repairs, and updates the building automation computers. Creates and adjusts computer programs, graphics, and parameters in alignment with the ROC energy strategy and recommendations from data analysts and ROC leadership.

3. Isolates and corrects building control system failures to restore normal operations. Maintains copies and backups of control sequences and computer images.

4. Measures, calculates, and adjust supply air flow, exhaust air flows, and water flows for optimum operation to ensure compliance with all appropriate regulations and improve energy efficiency.

5. Provides support to facility-based plant personnel to trouble-shoot control problems. Instructs plant personnel on operations strategies to enhance energy savings.

6. Works with energy analysts to develop control strategies in effort of repairing, adjusting, and optimizing the operation of controlled equipment.

7. Position generally carries departmental or hospital responsibility within assigned discipline area. External customers may include, but are not limited to, regulatory/accrediting agencies, external data providers, utility companies, etc. Internal customers include facilities services staff, managers, executives, and medical staff.

8. Position may require variable shifts and hours, weekly on-call (nights/week ends) rotation.

9. Provides support and expertise to Banner Development and Construction teams with focus on standards, project feedback, and coordination/completion of project scope.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, skills and abilities as normally obtained through the completion of an Associate's Degree and  2 years’ experience of programming within the building automation industry or equivalent combination of education, technical, business and healthcare experience in a related field.

Must have advanced skills in troubleshooting, installing, repairing, and servicing industrial building automation systems. Requires intermediate to advanced skills using word processing, spreadsheet, database and other standard business applications.

Requires communication and presentation skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences. Requires ability to communicate and interact across facilities and at various levels. As is typical in this industry, variable shifts and hours and carrying/responding to a company phone may be required.

Ability to read low voltage electrical wiring diagrams and controls flow diagrams, must be proficient with test instruments and calibration tools, have the ability to understand control wiring diagrams, and understand the operation of HVAC equipment. This includes the ability to understand written sequences of operation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

LonWorks and/or BACnet protocol fundamentals and Niagara AX and/or Niagara 4 experience or Possess a Niagara AX and/or Niagara 4 certification preferred. Additional education and/or experience with electrical/mechanical systems is strongly preferred.

Your Responsibilities

• Technical Specifications: Serves as a software engineer for supporting/enhancing enterprise systems software component additions and modifications.  

• Coding: Serves as the software engineer during the coding phase of the development cycle.  

• Quality Assurance (QA) Testing: Collaborates with the software engineering test teams during the quality assurance phase of the development cycle.  

• Production Release: Serves as primary support before, during and after the systems Production rollout.  

• Operation support: Work with operations team to resolve major incidents including on-call support.

Your Experience, Skills & Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in related field Computer Science or equivalent experience

• At least 4 years’ experience in software development, information systems, or equivalent technical environment, including previous experience in the development of highly transactional, mission critical applications in heterogeneous environments/architectures for multi-user systems.

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

As a Cybersecurity Technical Analyst II, you will be part of an Enterprise-wide Cybersecurity Engineering team responsible for Privileged Account Management (PAM), tasked with the planning, implementation, and support of the Enterprise PAM System Platform. POSITION SUMMARY
This position formulates and defines Cybersecurity scope and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable industry and regulatory requirements. The incumbent designs and implements complex network or application security architectures. Conducts security reviews and oversees any subsequent remediation projects generated from the review. Must possess three years of experience in a healthcare environment or an equivalent combination of relevant education, technical, business and healthcare experience. Must demonstrate general knowledge of information technology and healthcare. Needs experience in small scale project planning and reporting either individually or in a team. Requires communication and presentation skills to engage technical and non-technical audiences. Requires ability to communicate and interact across facilities and at various levels.
