About the role
Duties that form part of this role include:
Curriculum updating through validation and revalidation of degree programmes
Undertaking curriculum administration duties
Taking part in open events, taster days and student enrolment
Supporting students through 1-1 and group tutorials, as we as student engagement meetings
About the person
The Department of HE Business, Arts, and Media is seeking to appoint a dynamic and motivated Programme Leader with a passion for IT and Computing. The ideal candidate will hold an undergraduate degree in this field and be able to demonstrate relevant experience. This role involves leading and managing the FdSc Digital and Technology Solutions program and delivering the BSc(Hons) Digital Technology Solutions top-up program. The successful applicant will collaborate closely with the Programme Leader for the BSc program to ensure the delivery of high-quality and inclusive teaching.
Topics and skills within the delivery of this programme include:
Client and Server-side web development
Software development
Database design and development
Developing local and wide area networks, within this programme, there is a focus upon networking and network security related skills, and the ideal candidate will have some experience in configuring routers, switches, servers and other networking devices to create local and wide area networks.
