Your new role
You will be working as a Team leader, this is a mobile position so you will be expected to manage a team of 3-5 operatives with day-to-day repairs and maintenance within the properties across the region, covering Huddersfield - Whitby and more, a van is included in this role as a mobile team leader.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have:
Trade knowledge (multi trade knowledge is preferable)
NVQ or C&G is preferred
Clean UK Full Drivers Licence
Must pass a Basic DBS
Must be able to provide two work related references

The 9Now Web team is a primarily front-end agile software and streaming development team building the "Future of Television". Our core responsibility is building, testing, securing and maintaining 9now.com.au. We're at the forefront of 9Now’s strategy, creating a responsive, performant, accessible user experiences for viewing 9Now content in mobile, tablet and desktop browsers.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to plan, design, develop and test solutions.
• Work across our web-based tech stack (Typescript and JavaScript), particularly utilising React (including Next.js, Styled Components, Jotai state management, Jest and Testing Library React, Playwright, hosted in Docker on AWS infrastructure).
• Develop our streaming video stack and its accompanying analytics and observability.

• Conduct skydiving instruction briefings to provide critical information regarding parachute safety and free-fall jumps.
• Serve as certified Master Parachute Rigger by conducting inspections of parachuting equipment within the US Army Parachuting Team.

• Analyzes budgeting data to ensure proposed cost estimation plans adhere to outlined equipment budget objectives.

• Conduct the testing of parachuting equipment to enhance the operability of Parachute Team.
• Use parachute systems that require the execution of numerous mechanical assembly and fabric packing procedures.
• Collaborate with external agencies to ensure design of parachuting equipment is accommodating to jumper or solider assigned to equipment.
• Responds to inquiries pertaining to technical issues within US Army Parachuting Team.

Role Responsibilities:

• Undertake all electrical repairs, installations, and inspection and testing within the area.
• Record and keep logs of inspection reports and remedial work.
• Report any defects at the time of the service visit.

The ideal candidate:

• NVQ Level 3 qualification in Engineering Maintenance (multi-discipline)
• good knowledge of building Statutory Compliance.
• able to read and understand technical drawings
• have good problem-solving and decision-making skills and be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written.
• Full UK Clean driving license
