About this role
The Senior HR Technology Specialist is responsible for daily operations of HR integrations and participates in projects of new HR integrations and/or HR integration enhancement. This role will partner with HR Technology Integration Lead, Functional Leads, Integration Subject Matter Experts, Information Technology, and Accenture Managed Services. Monitor adherence to data privacy compliance as well as support the technology team across disciplines in the area of integrations. Coordinate with Functional Leads and Subject Matter Experts who own the end-to-ends for their respective functions to best leverage the products for Dow’s organization.
In this role, you will require understanding of key business drivers for the disciplines and functions. You will need to be able to expand conceptual and working knowledge related to the discipline or functional area an integration supports. You are expected to be able to explain complex information to others.
It is your responsibility to use technical experience, established practices, and personal judgement to analyze and resolve straightforward problems. Your performance impacts the quality of your own work and your team’s work and requires that you work within established guidelines and policies.
Responsibilities:
Lead functional requirements and design for Human Resource data integrations in Workday, Azure HR Data Lake, and other HR systems. Partner with the Technical Team on integration specifications.
Monitor and manage the health of Human Resource data integrations and lead incident management and remediation activity with partners.
Execute Integration Scheduling, Ad hoc integrations, and schedule change requests.
Lead integration enhancement and continuous improvement work including identifying opportunities to automate manual work with data integrations/interfaces.
Troubleshoot and resolve integration defects.
Assist in the Azure HR Data Lake implementation by providing data interfaces from Human Resource systems like Workday, SAP LMS, ADP, and others.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, MIS, IT, or Analytics
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization, and vendors
Ability to translate technical language to end user friendly language and vice versa
Excellent communication skills - clearly and concisely present complex findings for a wide variety of audiences
Strong problem-solving skills and be able to find root cause to prevent future repeatable issues
At least 2 years’ experience designing, orchestrating and managing an HR interface library and schedule
At least 3 years of Workday Reporting Experience
Experience working in a global organization
Preferred Skills
SQL experience in SQL Server, Oracle, MYSQL or other RDBMS
JSON/XML experience helpful
Azure data factory, Synapse, or other Azure cloud data pipeline experience helpful
