We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and energetic Technical Training Instructor to lead the delivery of training courses in various NDT and inspection techniques, primarily in Derby but also at customer sites to meet our contractual obligations in line with customer expectations.
Main Accountabilities
- Lead the delivery of NDT & inspection training courses and competency assessments.
- Supervising delegates throughout to ensure they are completed safely.
- Collaborating with colleagues to provide/ensure consistent deliver of training.
- Ensure all documentation in completed in accordance with local procedures.
- Ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner to support invoicing.
- Ensure all facilities and equipment are inspected and any corrective actions raised.
- Support audits and timely implementation of corrective measures.
What you need to do the role?
- Experience as an NDT practitioner (as an instructor would be desirable).
- High level of competency and use of Microsoft Office.
- Numerate, accurate, with a good level of literacy.
- High level of interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and make pragmatic decisions.
- Excellent timekeeping and organisational skills.
- High degree of flexibility and can deal with ambiguity.
