As an Information Technology Specialist in the United States Attorney's Office-District of Arizona, you will join a well-respected team, and be responsible for providing technical and analytical assistance involving various Information Technology (IT) areas. Typical work assignments will include:
- Providing IT customer service and support in troubleshooting, recovering, and resolving recurring software/hardware problems
- Managing accounts, network rights and access to systems and equipment.
- Installing, configuring, and upgrading commonly used hardware and software systems.
- Assisting in the configuration, installation, and maintenance of networked systems including hubs, routers, switches, bridges, servers, and related hardware.
- Maintaining telecommunications systems using knowledge of transmission, broadcasting, switching, control and operation of telecommunications systems.
- Monitoring the functionality, security and integrity of internet services. Managing internet servers.
- Analyzing policies and procedures to ensure information systems reliability and accessibility and to prevent and defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks and data.
Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
Starting at $62,635 Per Year (GS 9-12)
