Chief Technical Advisor - Process

KBR is looking for a Chief Technical Advisor, Process to help lead our Olefins group of the Technology Business Unit. As a Technical Advisor, you will be part of a process engineering team to provide plant technical lifecycle support from Basic engineering to plant operation.
Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Provide site services and technical solutions.
Meet directly with the client.
Handle interdisciplinary meetings and information transfer and provide licensee feedback to improve KBR Olefins technology.
Conventional engineering and operation practice which may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design and operation requirements, and difficult coordination requirements.
Support proposal development.
Provide supervision to less experienced engineers.
lead process engineering team on basic engineering technology projects.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Chemical Engineering.
15+ years of CURRENT experience in Petrochemical Process design, optimization and/or operation.
High level of proficiency in using process design simulation software (i.e. Aspen, PROII, etc.) to develop new or revamp designs.
Proficiency in conceptual development of process designs, basic economic evaluations, Process Flow Diagrams, equipment capacity evaluation and specification.
Ability to develop new engineering ideas and concepts.
Strong English verbal, writing and reading communication skills.
Ability to clearly convey technical concepts and principles in both verbal and written communications to clients, peers and KBR management.
Must be willing and available to travel domestic and international including site base assignment, as needed.
