You'll work within the Channels Enabling platform, which is responsible for a range of our externally facing websites across multiple brands, for commercial banking and retail banking customers.

What exactly will you focus on?
This is a highly hands on technical role implementing the best practices for Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Content Management. Working in a cross-disciplinary team you'll turn business requirements into reality!
Our Engineers are passionate about ensuring the services, both internal and external have; extreme reliability, security, resiliency, architectural simplicity, as well as continually seeking to find improvements.
You'll focus on back-end web development using Adobe Experience Manager and Java, taking requirements from Business Analysts in the platform and translating those into working website functionality & content.
You'll use modern Agile software engineering practices including DevOps & utilising cloud services. You'll also use GitHub, Cloud, Jira, Confluence & Microsoft Teams.
You'll help mentoring more junior technical members of the team and act as a senior developer within the platform.

You'll have experience working as a senior software engineer with a focus on back-end web development & highly skilled in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

You have a broad understanding across AEM related domains, exposure to git & GitHub, DevOps, Cloud, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams with a high level of experience of product evaluation.

Intermediate to Good hands on skills in Java/J2EE

Be comfortable developing AEM components, services and workflows.

Good understanding in OSGI, JCR, Sling and other AEM layers.

Exposure to cloud technologies would be a plus as we are Cloud first.
