As a Senior Application Coordinator / Analyst the post holder is responsible for: Assisting with the implementation, ongoing delivery, maintenance and quality improvement of the One Devon electronic patient record (EPR) system within a designated team. Working on several integrated clinical areas to ensure a coordinated approach across all teams and Trusts. Working with other configuration teams, and the wider One Devon organisations to analyse and suggest ways to improve current workflows and working practices through the enabling EPR. In conjunction with the One Devon Implementation team, facilitate agreement for changes in working practices with appropriate stakeholders. Matching agreed workflows and clinical pathways with those already built into Epics EPR system and/or configuring the Epic EPR system using configuration tools to tailor the system. Assisting with testing of the systems to ensure it is safe, usable, secure and robust. Provide support to end-users through regular meetings and by participating in a 24/7 and/or on call rota at go-live and during the subsequent optimisation phase.

The role
As a Senior Technical Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. The successful applicant will be making a difference to keeping our fleet at sea, you will help deliver continuous availability of critical equipment on both Surface Ships and Submarines.

Day to day, you'll Investigate and resolve technical queries from a variety of sources, and raising and answering S2022 forms through the Maritime Collaborative Working Environment via the Surface Ship Definition Database (SSDD) and Submarine definition Database (SDD) against scope of the contracts supported, as well as:

• Develop and implement design and support improvements, such as Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) actions, to identify cost/lead-time/availability improvements for the Marine Systems contracts.
• Resolve obsolescence issues identified by the Obsolescence Manager, applying the most appropriate resolution to gain the maximum benefit to the project.
• Perform Unit Maintenance Management System (UMMS) Monitoring and suggesting changes to improve the reliability of assets.
• Assist in maintaining a technical document library. This includes reviewing and updating Books of Reference (BRs) and Illustrated Parts Catalogues (IPCs).

This role is a hybrid role with 2 days per week onsite at Devonport.

Essential experience of the Senior Technical Engineer:
It would be advantageous to have a relevant background and experience in the following -

• Experience of working on operational marine systems including Sea Water Systems (pumps), Domestics Equipment, Hydraulics, Switch gear, Control Systems and Motors
• A good understanding of asset and configuration management.
• Knowledge of obsolescence resolution techniques
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Ability to produce concise reports.

Qualifications for the Senior Technical Engineer:

• The candidate will have a relevant engineering qualification such as degree/equivalent,
• The candidate will ideally have IEng status or working towards professional registration.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.

The Role
As a Senior Technical Author, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. As a Senior Technical Author for Radioactive Waste Management (RWM) you will be tasked with managing a team, authoring procedures required within the industrial team to carry out operations and maintenance on the facility. The team is charged with the responsibility of the safe collection, handling, treating and disposal of radioactive waste generated across the licensed site. RWM also ensure the delivery of the planned maintenance schedule for a wide range of both fixed and mobile assets.

Day to day, you'll be expected to research and produce, detailed control documentation which sequences and instructs operations that support the Radioactive Waste organisation and the associated that take place within them i.e. maintenance of equipment, replacement of obsolescent equipment, testing of equipment, installation of equipment, operation of equipment etc:

• You will ensure that strict mandatory / contractual and legislative standards of nuclear safety and conventional health and safety are maintained when producing technical documentation.
• Whilst producing documentation you will perform quality checking to your own work and the work of your peers.
• You will provide advice and guidance to Project/Production departments to support with costing and planning analysis for on-going work programming.
• A key part of this role will be to understand the operating and maintenance demand that future projects will provide and guide the team they are responsible for to best support the requirements of those projects outlined within the RWM Integrated Master Schedule.

This role is a full-time position, that is contract at 36 hours a week will be based onsite at our Devonport site, in Plymouth. There is potential to eventually move to a hybrid working arrangement, once you're fully integrated into the role but, you will still be expected onsite, for the majority of the week.

Essential Experience of the Senior Technical Author:

• Understand / interpret a variety of technical documents and drawings.
• Ability to use a variety of sources of information to extract necessary and important data to populate procedures and operational documentation.
• Appreciation / understanding of / experience working in a regulated environment.

Clinical To be accountable for own clinical practice and caseload management.
