specialist media companies spanning news & information, data, technology, marketing, and communications.
About the Role
We have an opportunity for an exceptional and dynamic individual to join us as Head of Client Services. This role is to cover
parental leave and is being offered on a 12 month fixed term basis.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will steer our Client Services and Strategy team with your expertise and experience.
Your main purpose in the role will be to oversee key growth accounts in the Hydrogen portfolio, ensuring unparalleled service and
delivering outstanding results for our clients, fostering strong relationships and driving account growth.
This role is a unique opportunity to drive positive change and cultivate an inspiring culture and work environment. You’ll support
and develop your team, collaborating with other Heads of Department to ensure the agency runs seamlessly and innovates continually
to elevate performance.

What You Can Expect Day-to-Day
* Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, deeply understanding their businesses and
consistently exceeding their expectations.
* Team Management: Lead and mentor the Client Services & Strategy team, fostering strong relationships and focusing on team
development. Act as a role model, encouraging positive ways of working.
* Revenue Growth: Drive growth by identifying and leveraging opportunities to increase revenue across key accounts.
* Client Innovation: Identify and present growth opportunities to clients in compelling ways, managing risks to the client
relationship proactively.
* Pitching and Proposals: Support new business efforts with the delivery of exceptional pitches and proposals.
* Operational Excellence: Ensure quality control of client work, develop processes for continuous improvement, and lead
cross-functional collaboration to achieve client success.
* Industry Awareness: Stay informed about market trends affecting client industries and the latest social media industry news to
inform client strategies.
Who You Are
Our ideal candidate is passionate about developing a positive and productive working environment and culture. To be successful
you’ll need to understand the agency landscape, including experience managing budgets and financial reporting.
You’ll also need:
* Significant experience in a marketing / media agency environment, preferably with experience of working in social media
* Extensive experience working with cross-disciplinary teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong leadership skills with significant experience of line management, leading, motivating, and mentoring teams
* Strong commercial and negotiation skills
