Job Description:

● Provide critical support in streaming, editing, recording, setups, and more for Conservatory performances and events
● Arrange for and set all P.A. systems, projectors, and additional equipment as needed for assigned projects
● Proactively engage in frequent and robust communications with all event stakeholders on performance technology logistics, troubleshooting and opportunities for new ideas
● Support worker training activities and materials in audio and video recording, PA set-up, and streaming technologies
● Coordinate and maintain digital archives, encoding, storage and distributing
● Coordinate processing, editing, and distributing of videos of performances and special events for archival and promotional purposes
● Support the installation, testing and repairs of A/V equipment and integrated support systems; and continually monitor systems for ongoing and new issues; troubleshoot on-site/remotely as needed.
● Advise Assistant Director of Concert Services and Director of Performance Services in planning for future equipment needs and opportunities
● Support Assistant Director of Concert Services in partnering with Berklee counterparts to explore and develop integration possibilities for performance support
● Coordinate with External Relations to support short marketing videos for promotion and recruitment
● Collaborate with Assistant Director of Concert Services and Director of Performance Services to envision and implement new and innovative systems; formats; methods of production, documentation and dissemination; etc to continuously expand how Conservatory performances are produced, captured and shared

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
● Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with 1 - 3 years of relevant work experience
● Proficiency in Mac operating systems
● Experience with the Google Suite platform
● Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere and Media Encoder
● Experience with local area networks and shared LANs

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
● Understanding of video work-flow, professional camera operation and streaming technologies
● Knowledge of digital and analog audio mixers
● Knowledge of video projection systems
● Knowledge of current best practices in audio and video recording of live performances

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
● Experience in supervising student workers a plus
● Experience in higher education and performing arts a plus

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Follow best practice ITSM incident and service request management practices to log and track progress on client support requests.  Effectively and consistently document, triage, resolve, assign and follow-up on support tickets.

• Maintain ownership of tickets assigned until resolution. This includes escalating service requests to appropriate groups when necessary and  providing timely client communication according to documented policy.

• Provide in person support for student printing issues

• Monitor the student printing fleet

• Contribute on special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 

• 1 - 3 years of experience in the direct delivery of IT support

• Bachelor’s degree

• Experience with  configuring, installation and troubleshooting of Mac OS X, Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.) and mobile devices (tablets, phones).

• Demonstrated specialized knowledge of Macintosh and Windows operating systems as well as Apple and PC hardware. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: 

• Understanding of audio software and plugins, understanding of digital audio hardware

• Understanding of software synthesizers and plugins, understanding of MIDI technologies and hardware

• Strong technical and analytical skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills in dealing with a wide range of clients with varying levels of computer familiarity.

• Ability to translate technical instructions into easily understood steps to a diverse client base.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to multitask, prioritize, and independently manage a changing workload and schedule.

The Head of Corporate Audit for Information Technology provides leadership in establishing, directing, and executing the strategy for Corporate Audit’s activities related to Global Technology Services. With a continuous improvement mindset and as a member of the global Corporate Audit Management Committee, the Head of Corporate Audit, IT influences, collaborates and partners with Corporate Audit peers in the development of the global Corporate Audit strategy and methodology in line with industry practices, professional standards, and regulatory requirements

The Head of our IT Audit leads the infrastructure, cyber, and horizontal IT audit functions. This role will be based in our Boston office 4 days a week and report into our Chief Auditor.

What you will be responsible for

• Setting the strategy for all IT infrastructure, cyber and business IT risk coverage and audits globally.
• Building out continuous auditing processes including the use of data analytics.
• Collaborating closely with global peers for business and legal entity audits.
• Advising the General Auditor and the E&A committee of the board on Technology risks.
• Maintaining key relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including the CIO, CISO, CTO, and others.
• Manage, Build and develop a diverse global team of auditors to provide expert advice and assurance on technology risks, incl. cyber risks and threats.
• Ensuring that the IT audit function is well integrated with the overall audit program.
• Communicating audit findings and recommendations effectively to the banks leadership team.
• Monitoring and track progress on audit findings and recommendations.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in for technology risk and controls frameworks, e.g. NIST, and apply them effectively in audits work.
• Developing credible and strong working relationships with key regulators and communicating audit strategy and results effectively.
• Participate as an active non-voting member of various governance and risk committees, management steering committees, promoting balanced discussions, and encouraging challenge and debate.
• Establishing and maintaining strong working closely partnerships with peers while leading business and legal entity audits globally
• Role model behavior in cross-cultural awareness and ability to connect with colleagues globally in establishing and maintaining a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

• A minimum of 15 years of audit experience in a large, global financial services firm
• 10+ years of experience in leading global teams and board facing responsibilities  
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• CISSP, CISA, or CISM are highly preferred.

JOB OVERVIEW

The ideal candidate for this position would possess knowledge and experience in metal fabrication and fitment, as well as experience in the construction process of new product mold tooling. This knowledge and experience would cover aspects of tooling mold construction, steel bracing, and welding. These molds include but are not limited to hulls, liners, decks, small parts, fixtures, and other production support equipment.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Construction of molds to defined specification methods outlined in tooling manuals
• Proper documentation of mold construction records through all phases of the mold building process
• Must be committed to quality standards acceptable by Boston Whaler and our customer base
• Ability to work with a wide variety of hand and power tools
• Support the timely execution of assignments defined in schedules outlined by tooling supervisor
• Ability to interface well with other employees, supervisors, managers throughout the organization
• Support departmental 6S initiatives making sure safety standards are followed, immediate work areas and the shops are maintained in a clean and orderly manner daily.
• Follow company policies and procedures, immediately report any observed safety concerns to supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven experience as a welder, including usage of a variety of welding equipment and procedures.
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and the use of PPE (welding helmet, face-shield, gloves, safety glasses, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
• Proficiency with metal fabrication tools including cold saw, tape measure, band saw, general power tools
• Ability to read/hear, interpret and/or understand instructions given verbally or written and exchange accurate information with others.

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Welding Certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Experienced in all aspects of mental working, fabrication, and welding (torch and plasma cutting, Mig and Tig welding, pipe bending, metal cutting machines, mill work)
• Self-starter, high energy individual who performs assignments effectively.

SHIFT & WORK SCHEDULE

• Boston Whaler and BBG Tech Center have multiple shifts available to fit a variety of schedule.
• The standard work schedule for this position is Monday – Thursday 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM.

• Occasional overtime may be required based on scheduling and business needs, including non-schedule workdays or irregular hours.

• An hourly premium shift differential is available for employees working night shift and weekends
