Duties include, but may not be limited to:

• Research and development, either directly or in an oversight capacity, with contracted resources to build and maintain mobile applications while focusing on assignment as the primary managing and oversight resource to one or more major enterprise-level product divisions.
• Responsible for conducting analyses and support of electronic health record data, personal health record data and real time health data from digital therapeutics and commercially available datasets related to socioeconomic indicators of health.

• Responsible for management of major components of OCC's enterprise data infrastructure; its integration into other VA databases, analyses, and datasets (i.e., VA and contractor); implementation of changes in national data collection processes; related data and analysis support and maintenance; and any other areas.
• Applies broad, detailed, and exceptionally current knowledge pertaining to advanced data management techniques to define, develop, and/or request contract or research support as required to produce state-of-the-art emerging software

This position is assigned to the office of the Chief Nurse Executive (CNE) at the Washington DC Veterans Affairs Medical Center (DC VAMC). The incumbent supports the Nursing Education & Research service in accomplishing the mission and goals of the medical center and nursing service.
