The primary purpose of this position is: as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) accomplishes area expertise for secure computer and long-haul communications systems for the Operations of the Airlift Control Flight (ALCF)/Contingency Response Element (CRE). Additionally, provides weekday training and support to reserve personnel at home station and temporary duty (TDY) locations world-wide.

Duties:
1: Accomplishes ALCF/CRE secure/non-secure communication (Comm)/aerospace ground equipment (AGE) activities.

2: Responsible for COMSEC Management and Training. Responsible for Operational Security (OPSEC) Management and Training.

3: Manages AGE equipment. Performs a variety of administrative services in support of the unit program management.

4: Provides Client Support Administrator (CSA) services to support network applications.

5: Conducts secure communications and computer capabilities and fundamentals training for all ALCF/CRE personnel.

2. Serves as the foremost technical expert and advisor on highly complex programs with significant national or international implications, highlighting the strategic and operational depth of the role.

Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships; the Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO), is instrumental in establishing and maintaining pivotal professional relationships, representing the Director across various high-level meetings, conferences, and forums as a distinguished
4. expert and advisor on communications processes, technology, and data.
5. Integrates and implements next generation IT support, delivers AFRC basing and general purpose information technology (IT) and services, and directs the development of mission fit-for-purpose IT integration plans.
