• Participate in support and assistance of infrastructure operations to optimise network systems, including monitoring, analysis and evaluating infrastructure to ensure that the network systems are optimised;
• Support and troubleshoot computer network and systems issues and emergencies through the provision of specialist skills and expertise;
• Create and update operational and support documentations, as well as providing reports of diagnosis and troubleshooting solutions of network system problems and errors;
• Assess and recommend changes and improvements to the network systems, including the software, network operations and integrated hardware, communications and operating systems;
• Install, configure, test, maintain and administer new and upgraded networks, software database applications, virtual and physical systems and servers;
• Create and maintain company procedures and documentation for network inventory, and reporting and creating documentation for the diagnosis and resolution of network faults and errors, enhancements and modifications to networks, and instructions for the maintenance of the network systems;
• Plan, deploy and test new and upgraded network system services, and ensuring the overall optimisation of the network system and configurations;
• Day to day management, maintenance and development of the network systems, infrastructure and network operations, and troubleshooting network errors and problems as they arise.
• The successful applicant must have at least 3 years work experience in a similar position with the relevant experience in Information & Communication Technology Occupations;
