Digital Service Owner

Rate: £500 to £600

As the Service Owner, you will be responsible for the successful operation of three digital services that are at different stages in their digital lifecycle.

• NPWD (National Packaging Waste Database)
• WEEE Online (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment)

You will ensure these services are maintained to a high standard, delivering continuous improvement, new digital requirements from regulatory reform and decommissioning as services transition to new platforms.

• Coordinate the Digital Senior Technical Officers' day-to-day activity across the digital services as part of a matrix management structure.
• Liaise with colleagues, contractors and third-party suppliers involved in the support and development of the digital services and regulatory reform digital projects
• Manage contracts for maintenance and development of the digital services with Commercial, including service performance reviews and reconciliation of contractual payments with delivery.
• Manage the financial budgets allocated for the continuous improvement and development of these services.
• Identify and prioritising continuous improvement requirements within the budget limitations.
• Ensure that bugs and issues encountered are logged and progressed in line with agreed priorities.
• Ensures that the digital services remain compliant with all security, data protection and accessibility requirements.

Your new role
This is a permanent position, working closely with the CEO, VP Biometrics and other senior stakeholders to ensure clinical (and potentially other, earlier discovery) technologies remain compliant with regulatory requirements as well as driving innovation within this space, eg through the adoption of new processes/technologies/software, etc.The company is ideally looking for candidates to spend some time in office, but the exact amount is open for discussion dependent on candidate location and other factors.
