The Role:

This role is an exciting opportunity to be a critical part of the talent engine fueling a high growth organization that is radically changing the biotech industry. The Lead Human Resources Business Partner – Corporate Functions will be responsible for establishing and maintaining effective relationships with one or more Sr Leaders in our Corporate Functions and their respective teams while also driving the efficient and effective delivery of key Human Resources projects and objectives.  Success in this role will draw from an established track record of successfully partnering with functional leaders to build capability and maintain effective teams, leading through Moderna’s values and Mindsets, all while delivering results. This role is a key member of the Corporate Function HRBP team and reports to the HR Executive Partner for Corporate Functions. The HRBP team is focused on being a Moderna culture ambassador, business enablement, delivering against intense people growth objectives of the company while also promoting a high-performance culture.

The Lead HR Business Partner will work collaboratively with the Human Resources team and other subject matter experts to solution and align practices and initiatives with the Company’s strategic and operational goals.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

• Provide strategic counsel to key functions and management in the areas of organizational effectiveness and development, coaching and talent management.

• Engage cross-functionally and assist staff at many levels in optimizing the performance of their teams and resolving issues.

• Contribute to creating solutions in such areas as employment, employee communication, talent and career development, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and HRIS delivery.

• Support continued growth and infrastructure by helping to identify talent gaps and development areas across the Corporate Functions and other areas as the business grows.

• Focus on relentless ability to build/re-build teams by using strong capability planning/workforce planning experience to diagnose and recommend best-fit org design frameworks.

• Provide day-to-day support to employees and managers regarding HR practices, HRIS systems, employee relations, development etc.

• Ensure system workflows and communication are efficiently executed across key functions.

• Support HR Executive Partner on key projects and initiatives as well as day-to-day tasks.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years progressive Human Resources Business Partnership experience required.

• Experience leading enterprise-wide initiatives in a fast growth environment is required, including skill in partnering with other members of the HR team.

• Proven experience leading and owning capability/workforce planning and re-org work in a dynamic, evolving environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven HR business partnership experience within the Finance/Corporate Functions

• Prior experience working in a dynamic global technology, biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical organization.

THE JOB

We are seeking an HR Generalist who will be responsible for the day to day human resource functions and duties at the HOB Las Vegas. Reporting to Director of HR, the selected candidate will proactively partner with the venue General Manager as well as the department managers to create the desired workplace culture and an engaged and productive workforce.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Maintain HR Procedures and Practices

• Provides advice and counsel to managers and supervisors regarding personnel practices, policy, and employment laws
• Evaluates reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals.
• Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed and develops department goals, objectives, and systems
• Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database
• Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
• Assists Management with employee performance appraisals, including monthly notification to Management regarding employee performance appraisals
• Monitors career pathing, employee relations and counseling and provides an inside perspective to the  Director of HR
• Assists in development of people-management skills and provides objective perspective on employee issues
• Conducts new-hire orientation, and other company sponsored training programs as monthly
• Ensures venue is in compliance with all current HOB policies and procedures as outlined in employee handbook
• Maintains open-door communication policy to staff concerns and issues
• Maintains communication and relations with Director of  Human Resources
• Investigates and remedies harassment, abuse, or mistreatment of team-members and partners with the Director of HR to complete investigation.
• Helps the Company maintain its commitment to diversity
• Participates in executive committee meetings/manager meetings, and plans/facilitates manager/all-staff meetings and programs
• Maintains a tracking system for all State or County Licensee or Certification requirements. Make recommendations on recertification and training. Makes recommendation on training for recertification. Maintains a tracking system to ensure venues are adhering to the Alcohol Beverage Commission guidelines. Makes recommendation on training for recertification
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned
• Directs the development of staffing strategies; develops and builds hiring processes for a variety of levels for non exempt staffing
• Ensures compliance with all state and federal discrimination and employment regulations

Safety/Health and Risk Management

• Reviews Workers’ Compensation reports and handling of claims
• Develops and maintain OSHA Workplace and Safety programs
• Creates and co-chair quarterly safety committee
• Maintains staff injury/incident reports
• Maintains guest injury/incident reports and handle any related issues in conjunction with Vice President of Risk Management
• Conducts quarterly safety walk through and make recommendations as needed to GM for improvements

Legal Compliance

• Ensures HOB follows labor and employment law guidelines set forth by state and federal government

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required:

• Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, legal studies, or related discipline
• 3-5 Years of progressive HR experience
• 2 years in Human Resources Generalist  with heavy emphasis on employee relations
• Must have knowledge of State Employment Laws and Statutes
• This position requires strong communication skills with a supervisor. Ability to communicate effectively via email, conference calls and periodic updates is essential
• Demonstrates a high level of integrity
• Flexible Schedule (days/nights, weekends, and holidays) prefer 10-6 or 11-7
• Tolerance of all cultures, music and art forms

Preferred:

• Food & Beverage/Hospitality/Live Music Entertainment related experience

THE JOB

US Concerts is seeking is seeking a Recruitment/Onboarding Coordinator who will be responsible for the seasonal recruitment efforts as well as the onboarding process for all new employees. In addition, they will assist with basic-level HR items within our HRIS, Workday.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

• Actively oversee total roster staffing numbers with backup plans for hiring throughout the summer if needed.
• Other tasks as assigned by the venue management.
• Ensure record keeping and proper filling of; Pre-Event Inspection Reports, Event Related Incident Reports, Workman Comp/General Liability Claims.
• Actively recruit for all open seasonal positions within venue departments; using internet services, attending job fairs, reaching out to community leaders, etc
• Actively manage the onboarding process from the staff hire to the staff working their first event
• Assist Ops Mgr & AGM with Workday questions/concerns from staff

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Great attention to detail and ability to work against deadlines.
• Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills.

This position is responsible for EHS compliance and risk reduction. EHS TAP will help lead technical and cultural change in safety, environmental & resource conservation. TAP rotation to be a minimum 1 year at the manufacturing plant and second year rotation at a different manufacturing plant or as guided by Corp EHS.  Must be mobile during TAP rotations, and mobile to be placed after second rotation to a permanent position. Approximately, 75% Tactical work and 25% Strategic work.

Area of Responsibility:

• Develop and implement safety programs
• Identify safety hazards, develop and implement corrective actions
• Review capital projects and provide EHS input
• Lead incident investigations
• Conduct annual EHS standards self-audits and corrective action follow up
• Environmental Programs: Proactively determine regulatory requirements based on complex permits.  Implement a proactive environmental management system.  Conduct routine compliance inspections and complete reporting requirements for required environmental compliance programs (Ex. Air emissions, SPCC, storm water, spill reporting, hazardous waste, wastewater, etc.).
• Resource Conservation:  Determine plant environmental footprint to develop and implement proactive resource conservation programs

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree with an expected graduation date of Dec 2023 or May 2024

Salary for this role is based upon experience and is in the approximate salary range of $50,000-$68,000.

Hollywood Palladium is seeking a Security team member. This person will guard, patrol, and/or monitor the venue premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. May operate metal detector equipment.
